    MARCH -

During the month of March, local community officers carried out regular high‑visibility patrols in the areas of Brantwood Park and Dallow Road in response to ongoing concerns relating to drug‑related anti‑social behaviour. The patrols were implemented to deter offending, provide reassurance to residents, and increase officer visibility at key locations and times identified through local intelligence. Officers engaged with members of the public, monitored activity within the area, and worked alongside partner agencies where appropriate. These proactive patrols form part of continued efforts to address drug‑related issues, reduce anti‑social behaviour, and maintain a safe and supportive environment for the local community.

    FEBRUARY -

During the month of February, officers conducted a series of proactive and targeted patrols across key anti‑social behaviour hotspots in order to deter offending and provide visible reassurance to the local community. Particular attention was given to the areas surrounding Bowler Court, Brantwood Park, and Windsor Hill, where recurring reports of ASB had highlighted the need for increased police presence. These patrols were carried out at varying times of day to maximise effectiveness, disrupt emerging patterns of behaviour, and ensure sustained engagement with residents. Through consistent visibility and early intervention, officers aimed to reduce incidents, gather relevant intelligence, and reinforce the message that ASB will not be tolerated within the community.

    MARCH -

During the month of March, the local community team conducted regular high‑visibility patrols in and around the Moorland Gardens area as part of ongoing neighbourhood reassurance and engagement activity. These patrols provided opportunities to speak directly with residents, monitor the local environment, and address any concerns. No incidents or issues relating to anti‑social behaviour or crime were identified during this period; however, officers did note a slight increase in litter across the area. This concern has been recorded and shared with relevant partner agencies to support appropriate action, while patrols will continue to maintain a visible presence and promote a safe, clean, and well‑kept community space.

    FEBRUARY -

During the month of February, officers attended the location on several occasions, both in vehicles and on foot, to conduct high‑visibility patrols and monitor ongoing concerns. Initial visits identified no change in the accumulation of rubbish outside the address, and no persons were seen in or around the building. Subsequent foot patrols confirmed that the situation remained unchanged, with no indications of ongoing street‑based sex trading (OSST) observed at that time. Further high‑visibility patrols included engagement with staff at the nearby care home, who reported that prostitution activity was still occurring in the vicinity. They confirmed ownership of the surrounding bushes and agreed to explore options for cutting them back, while noting that the adjacent avenue of trees is owned and recently maintained by the council. Contact details were exchanged to support continued communication and follow‑up as the matter progresses.

    JANUARY -

During the month of January, high‑visibility patrols were carried out across the area, during which no issues of concern were identified and all appeared to be in proper order. Additional patrols were conducted with similarly nothing of note to report. As these activities fall under Op Octans, officers also extended their patrols into the wider Hightown area, where no persons of interest were sighted and no suspicious behaviour was observed. These continued patrols form part of our proactive approach to maintaining community reassurance and ensuring a visible policing presence in locations linked to the operation. Alongside this, Op Salus officers conducted high‑visibility foot patrols within the PMP area, focusing on engagement with both the public and local businesses, while ensuring patrols were carried out at known peak‑demand times. These patrols took place on various days throughout the month, contributing to enhanced visibility and intelligence development. Over the course of these deployments, a total of 37 hours and 31 minutes of patrol time was recorded, resulting in 52 public engagements, 12 business engagements, 3 intelligence reports, 1 arrest, 1 stop search, and 3 PSPO enforcements.

    DECEMBER -
Officers from operation Salus have continued to carry out High Visibility Patrols in the area of this PMP. This have been on foot with the emphasis being on public & business engagement. We are looking to complete as many of the patrols at the peak times with the aim of reducing the total crime/asb in the area and have the greatest impact.
Total Patrol hours in the area for December 2025 - 17hrs 6 minutes
In addition to these hours, we have also completed numerous intelligence reports, numerous public and business engagements and stop searches. PSPO enforcements have also been carried out where relevant.
