    Antisocial behaviour caused by youths.

    Camau a gymerwyd:

Addressing antisocial behaviour involving young people remains a priority for local officers. When concerns are identified, officers work with young people, their families and partner organisations to address problems at an early stage and help prevent further incidents. Where appropriate, Community Protection Warnings and Community Protection Notices may be issued to individuals whose behaviour is having a negative impact on the community. A Community Protection Warning is a formal warning that highlights concerns about a person's behaviour. If the behaviour continues, a Community Protection Notice can be issued, which sets legal requirements that must be followed. Failure to comply can result in further enforcement action. For younger individuals, officers may use Acceptable Behaviour Agreements, which are voluntary agreements that set out clear expectations for future behaviour and encourage positive choices. Officers also carry out home visits and work closely with parents and guardians to provide support, address concerns and help prevent antisocial behaviour from continuing.

    Drug and alcohol use.

    Wedi'i roi 21 Gorffennaf 2026

    Camau a gymerwyd:

Addressing drug and alcohol-related issues remains a priority for local officers. Regular patrols are carried out in areas where concerns about drug use, alcohol-related disorder and antisocial behaviour have been reported.

Officers use information from residents and local intelligence to focus activity where it is most needed and may carry out stop and searches where there are lawful grounds to do so. This proactive approach helps disrupt offending, gather information and provide reassurance to the community. Where appropriate, officers may use a Community Resolution to deal with offences. A Community Resolution is a way of dealing with certain offences outside of court, allowing offenders to take responsibility for their actions and make amends. Repeat offenders may also be issued with a Community Protection Warning or Community Protection Notice. A Community Protection Warning is a formal warning about behaviour that is having a negative impact on the community. If the behaviour continues, a Community Protection Notice can be issued, which sets legal requirements that must be followed. Officers will continue to monitor areas of concern and take action against those whose behaviour negatively affects local residents.

    Nuisance and off-road bikes.

    Wedi'i roi 21 Gorffennaf 2026

    Camau a gymerwyd:

Addressing nuisance bikes, off-road vehicles and the illegal use of e-scooters remains a priority for local officers. In response to concerns raised by residents, officers have carried out targeted patrols and enforcement activity using both high-visibility and proactive tactics to identify offenders and take action against vehicles being used illegally or in an antisocial manner.

Information provided by the public, including CCTV footage and reports of incidents, helps officers identify those responsible and locate vehicles linked to ongoing problems. This intelligence-led approach has led to nuisance vehicles being identified, seized and removed from use. Officers have also taken enforcement action under a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO), which is a legal measure used to address persistent antisocial behaviour in a specific area and can result in a fixed penalty notice being issued for breaches. Patrols and enforcement activity will continue to help reduce antisocial behaviour, improve road safety and address concerns about nuisance vehicles within the community.
