The local Beat Officer continues to work proactively to address road safety concerns within Maxton and Elms Vale. High-visibility patrols are regularly conducted in areas identified by residents as having ongoing traffic issues, including concerns around speeding, antisocial driving, illegal parking, and the misuse of vehicles.

Where opportunities arise, officers take positive action against road users committing offences, including uninsured drivers, drivers using vehicles in an antisocial manner, and those riding e-scooters unlawfully on public roads. The Neighbourhood Policing Team also works closely with partner agencies, local authority representatives, and CCTV operators to identify problem areas and take appropriate enforcement action.

We encourage residents to continue reporting road safety concerns, as community information helps us target patrols and enforcement activity. The local policing team remains committed to making Maxton and Elms Vale safer for all road users, pedestrians, and residents through a combination of education, engagement, and enforcement.

    Drug dealing.

    Wedi'i roi 15 Gorffennaf 2026

    Camau a gymerwyd:

Kent Police continues to take reports of suspected drug dealing in the Maxton and Elms Vale area seriously. Local neighbourhood officers are regularly carrying out high-visibility patrols, gathering intelligence, and responding to information provided by residents.

Over recent weeks, officers have been actively monitoring areas where concerns have been raised and are working closely with partner agencies to identify and disrupt individuals involved in the supply of illegal drugs. Patrols are conducted at varying times throughout the day and evening to maximise opportunities to identify offences and reassure the community.

The local beat officer remains committed to engaging with residents, businesses, schools and community groups to understand local concerns and act upon information received. Intelligence provided by the public plays a vital role in helping police target those responsible for criminal activity.

We would encourage anyone who witnesses suspected drug dealing or related antisocial behaviour to report it. Information can be reported to Kent Police via the Kent Police website or by calling 101. In an emergency, or where a crime is taking place, always call 999. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers.

Kent Police remains dedicated to making Maxton and Elms Vale a safe place to live, work and visit, and we will continue to take positive action against those involved in drug-related crime within our community.

    Antisocial behaviour personal.

    Wedi'i roi 15 Gorffennaf 2026

    Camau a gymerwyd:

Antisocial behaviour remains a priority for local officers, who continue to carry out targeted patrols and proactive operations in areas where concerns have been raised. Officers work closely with residents, schools and partner organisations to gather information, respond to reports and take action against those whose behaviour has a negative impact on the community. High-visibility patrols help deter antisocial behaviour, provide reassurance and improve community safety. Officers also work with schools to help young people understand the impact of antisocial behaviour and encourage positive choices. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting concerns so that patrols and enforcement activity can be directed to the areas where they are most needed.
