Over the Last 6 Weeks we continue to see a low amount of calls for service for nuisance bikes with only 14 calls to Police regarding the issue.
However our continued patrols it is clear that this is still very much an issue in the community, we continue to target the issue recovering a total of 3 Bikes, 1 of which were stolen. We continue to prosecute those riding the illegally adapted bikes for various road traffic offences

To Target drug dealing and antisocial drug use in the area
We continue to use intelligence led Policing and High demand reporting areas to identify the areas of drug dealing and ASB use take place and actively target those areas through patrols and disruption. Look to develop intelligence around addresses and offenders linked to the dealing of drugs.
Over the Last six weeks, there have been continuing our proactive patrols carrying out stop searches, there have been 11 offences for possession.
Working with UKBF who are supporting with intercepting large amount of drugs coming into the area incepting a total of 7 over the last 6 weeks with ongoing investigations
To target the increased Anti social behaviour around the retail part and District Centre
This is a new priority replacing the road safety due to the increasing impact on the community carrying out the daily activities. Whilst we have been managing the issue since November 2025, this is now set as a priority so we are able to invest more resources and investment into the area.
We have so far identified and issued out 30 Anti social behaviour contracts to youths found committing ASB in the area which include exclusions. We continue to work in partnership with the Leeds Anti social behaviour team for the ongoing management of these offenders.
We are also working closely with the retail outlets in the area, to secure the area and protect it from attracting anti social behaviour

Morley South Ward Area
To target and take appropriate action against known shoplifters in the Morley area. We will gather evidence and arrest those involved in retail crime taking positive action wherever possible. When people are convicted we will ask the courts to serve them with Criminal Behaviour Orders where appropriate.
We will engage with retailers to offer crime prevention advice.
To engage with nuisance youths, particularly targeting those engaged in Anti-Social Behaviour within the local parks. We will use conduct high visibility and covert patrols and where proportionate use Anti-Social Behaviour Legislation, such as dispersal orders if necessary. We will continue to work in partnership with Leeds Anti Social Behaviour Team (LASBT) to engage positively with those in the parks.

Outer South NPT have been conducting Winter Action patrols in Morley Town Centre, covering the retailers, licensed premises and the open park areas.
The action working with partners has also targeted several addresses and nominals committing ASB and crime (theft from shop, business burglary etc).

Operation with Trading Standards – Approximately £35,000 of illicit tobacco and vapes recovered
Crime Prevention visits to all retailers in Morley Town Centre during Business Week of Action. This was to advise regarding CCTV and the operation of it, target hardening and general engagement.
Oversight of business burglaries and theft from shops. Attending and reviewing reports of crime, ensuring CCTV is viewed and seized. This has resulted in an increase in the number of suspects identified and brough to justice.
To target Anti-Social Vehicle use, speeding and inconsiderate parking in and around Morley North. We will be increasing patrols in the areas and issuing penalty notices to be issued to any vehicle parked causing an obstruction, use of the Leeds wide PSPO alongside other legislation available to the police.
To disrupt and engage with nuisance youths within Morley North, particularly targeting misuse of drugs offences and anti-social behaviour. We plan to deal with this issue by increasing high visibility patrols in the area. We will also use anti-social behaviour Legislation if required to prevent the youths from returning to locations if warnings are not heeded whilst also working with partner agencies to prevent reoccurrences.
To deal with anti-social behaviour at White Rose Shopping Centre which is impacting on local businesses. Work with business owners to develop and act on reports and intelligence received, ensuring preventative steps are made by retailers rather than dealing afterwards.

We have been focusing recently on HGV’s driving through Gildersome in contravention of the restrictions in place, patrols have been conducted, on occasion words of advice have been given and tickets issued where appropriate.
Car meets along the A650 have decreased in frequency due to the active operation between SYP, WYP, WYP and Humberside, however they do continue to occur in differing locations, please contact us and let us know so the right resources can be sent to deal.
From our records ASB reports are still down which is positive across Drighlington, Gildersome and Churwell, several individuals have been moved out of the area, and a few people have been given behaviour contracts in conjunction with LASBT. Patrols will continue as and when demand allows.
Overall reported ASB is down at the WRSC alongside other related offences including theft from shop and burglary. Dedicated officers will continue to patrol and work from the site to deter offences from occurring and target harden the area.
We however continue to see numerous complaints on social media and receive complaints from third parties regarding this; we require members of the public to call police when this is occurring or submit a call to service via the online portal so that we can be made aware where the problems are and act upon them proactively rather than retrospectively.

We have targeted several youths in Tingley who are pending court action for the offences are they have been charged with, we have also worked with Leeds anti-social behaviour team and the Youth Offending Team, who are working with these youths and others to attempt to prevent and deter this offending.
We continue to pay regular attention to the area to - deter anti-social behaviour We are targeting those we find to be involved, we will work with our offroad bike team and Leeds anti-social behaviour team to target this behaviour.

Rothwell Ward Areas
To continue to disrupt anti-social behaviour and engage with youths causing anti-social behaviour in and around Commercial Street, Rothwell, the town centre. We will continue use anti-social behaviour legislation where necessary to disrupt this behaviour and look to engage with partners to find a long-term solution.
Deter anti-social behaviour on off road and other motor bikes along the Rothwell Greenway, links to issues on the Northfields estate on the Ardsley – Rothwell boarder and also linked to usage in and around the John O`Gaunts estate.

We encourage the public to report this behaviour when they see it via 101 / online reports it is only the reporting of these matter that will allow us to map times dates and locations and best deploy what resources we have to the right place and time or seek to obtain other resources from other departments.
We have worked with partners in Leeds anti-social behaviour team and housing and taken initial action against a number of youths and we have seen a decrease in calls to town centre and local shops.
We are working with stores and partners to identify the youths involved in asb in the town centre, some have already been given community resolutions and anti-social behaviour warnings by anti-social behaviour team. We are continuing this work.
A weapons sweep was conducted on the John O'Gaunts estate as part of the bi-annual Op Sceptre anti knife crime week of action.
We have deployed pro laser (speed gun) in our community in a number of locations and times and will continue to do so.
