    • Vehicle-Related ASB – Target the inappropriate use of cars, motorcycles, quad bikes, and other vehicles on highways, footpaths, parks, and open spaces.
    • Speeding Concerns – Work with partners to address speeding hotspots in and around Eccleshill Village and improve community confidence in road safety.
    • Enterprise 5 Business Park – Reduce incidents of anti-social behaviour through engagement, visible patrols, intelligence gathering, and problem-solving initiatives.

    Bolton and Undercliffe Priorities Ward Areas

    Retail Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour (Valley Road Retail Locations)

    • Increased high-visibility patrols at retail premises along Valley Road, focusing on anti-social behaviour, repeat calls for service, and identified hotspot locations.
    • Targeted activity to disrupt and deter prolific and repeat shoplifters through intelligence-led patrols and partnership working with retailers and security staff.
    • Joint working with businesses, CCTV operators, Bradford Council and partner agencies to identify offenders and implement problem-solving measures.
    • Engagement with retailers to encourage reporting, evidence gathering and crime prevention opportunities.
    • Use of Community Alert messaging and local engagement opportunities to keep residents and businesses informed of enforcement activity and crime prevention advice.
    • Multi-agency activity and targeted operations will be conducted throughout the priority period to address repeat demand and improve safety for businesses, staff and customers.

    Bradford Moor Ward Area

    1. Tackling Antisocial Vehicle Activity

    • Reduce nuisance and dangerous vehicle use on roads, residential areas, ginnels, car parks and open spaces through targeted interventions, enforcement and preventative initiatives.
    • Work in partnership with West Yorkshire Police and local communities to identify and address vehicle-related ASB hotspots.

    2. Creating Safer Parks and Public Spaces

    • Address antisocial behaviour within parks and recreational areas, particularly Attock Park and Seymour Park, to ensure they remain safe, welcoming and accessible for all residents.
    • Promote community use of open spaces through engagement, reassurance patrols and environmental improvements.

    3. Improving Safety Around Local Shopping Areas

    • Reduce incidents of antisocial behaviour, loitering, substance misuse and associated nuisance in and around local shopping centres, retail premises and supermarkets.
    • Support businesses and residents by implementing joint problem-solving measures with partner agencies.

    4. Reducing Firework-Related Nuisance and Disorder

    • Minimise the impact of the unlawful and irresponsible use of fireworks through awareness campaigns, community engagement, intelligence-led actions and enforcement activity.
    • Encourage responsible behaviour and improve reporting of firework-related incidents across the ward.

      Key Outcomes:

    • Lower levels of antisocial behaviour and community nuisance.
    • Increased feelings of safety among residents, visitors and businesses.
    • Better use and enjoyment of parks, open spaces and shopping areas.
    • Stronger partnership working and community engagement.
    • A cleaner, safer and more resilient Bradford Moor Ward.

  • Blaenoriaeth:

    Little Horton Ward Areas

    ASB & Drug Dealing – Marshfield Area

    • Reports continue of groups of young males congregating in the area, causing intimidation to residents and concerns regarding suspected drug-related activity.
    • Targeted patrols are being conducted to gather intelligence and identify those involved in criminality and anti-social behaviour.
    • Officers will utilise stop and search powers where appropriate, with arrests made where offences are identified.

    ASB & Drug Dealing – West Bowling Area

    • Work is ongoing to strengthen relationships with local religious establishments and key community stakeholders.
    • Efforts are focused on building trust, improving communication, and increasing opportunities for information sharing.
    • Residents are being encouraged to take part in community-led solutions to address anti-social behaviour.
    • Police activity in the area has increased, and recent incidents of disorder are currently being investigated by local officers.

    Drug Dealing & ASB – Little Horton Lane Area

    • Disruption activity continues following the identification of the area as an emerging hotspot for drug-related activity and anti-social behaviour.
    • High-visibility patrols are being undertaken alongside partner agencies to maintain a visible presence and deter offending.
    • Ongoing engagement with residents and community groups is helping to shape future priorities and enforcement activity.

    A new Police and Communities Together (PACT) meeting is being launched in the area and will take place every 6 weeks.

    These meetings are an opportunity for residents to meet with local police officers and partner agencies, discuss community concerns, receive updates on local issues, and help set neighbourhood priorities.

    1. Tackling Antisocial Vehicle Use

    • Reduce antisocial and nuisance vehicle activity in and around Bowling Park and other identified hotspots through targeted enforcement, engagement, and partnership working.
    • Work with local residents, businesses, and West Yorkshire Police to identify offenders and improve community safety.

    2. Disrupting Drug Supply and Associated Crime

    • Target drug supply and related criminal activity within the Barkerend area through intelligence-led interventions and joint working with partner agencies.
    • Support efforts to disrupt organised criminal activity and reduce the impact of drug-related harm on local communities.

    3. Addressing Drug Use and Dealing in Hendford Drive

    • Undertake proactive enforcement and intervention activities to tackle drug use, drug dealing, and associated antisocial behaviour in the Hendford Drive area.
    • Increase reassurance and visibility in the area to improve residents' confidence and feelings of safety.

    4. Reducing Firework-Related Antisocial Behaviour

    • Reduce the unlawful and antisocial use of fireworks through community engagement, education campaigns, and proactive enforcement activity.
    • Encourage responsible use of fireworks and promote reporting of incidents affecting local residents.

    5. Supporting Businesses and Local Communities

    • Work closely with local businesses, community organisations, and residents to address ongoing nuisance caused by antisocial vehicle use and fireworks.
    • Develop joint problem-solving initiatives that improve the local environment and reduce recurring issues affecting neighbourhoods.

    Desired Outcomes

    • Reduced antisocial vehicle use and associated nuisance.
    • Lower levels of drug-related crime and antisocial behaviour.
    • Improved safety and community confidence in Bowling Park, Barkerend, and Henford Drive.
    • Reduced firework-related complaints and incidents.
    • Stronger partnership working between residents, businesses, community organisations, and enforcement agencies.
    • A safer, cleaner, and more resilient Bowling and Barkerend Ward.

    Bradford East Neighbourhood Policing Team remains committed to working in partnership with residents, businesses and key stakeholders to address local concerns and enhance community safety. We welcome information from members of the public to support our problem-solving approach and encourage continued engagement through our contact channels and online reporting platforms.

    Ongoing Action

    Officers will continue to carry out proactive patrols in the area and engage with local venues, businesses and residents to help prevent further incidents. We are also working with the local authority to explore appropriate planning and licensing measures that may support long-term prevention and reduce opportunities for anti-social behaviour and criminal activity.

    Community Engagement

    We encourage residents to report any concerns and share information with us, including anonymously where preferred. Community intelligence plays a vital role in shaping our response, identifying emerging issues and helping to keep our neighbourhoods safe.

    Together, through partnership working and community support, we can continue to make Bradford East a safer place for everyone.
