The St Austell Neighbourhood Policing Team are committed to working with partner agencies and the community to tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB).

ASB is conduct that causes (or is likely to cause) harassment, alarm or distress to persons not of the same household of the offender.

Please if you do witness an ASB incident, report it to us at the time it's taking place, this will provide us with the best opportunity to identify the persons concerned and take appropriate action with our partner agencies.

The St Austell Neighbourhood Policing Team along with the Neighbourhood Support Team (NST) have attended public events such as Mevagissey Feast week to provide a high visibility policing presence to reassure the public and deter ASB. The public can expect to see further police presence at other public events over the coming months.

The St Austell Neighbourhood Policing Team with support from the Police Drone Team conducted a recent operation to target those illegally riding dirt bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters. A number of vehicles were seized and the riders/ drivers reported for road traffic offences such as driving without insurance or the appropriate license.

The local Policing Team are aware of the publics' concerns of ASB, drug misuse and drinking in and around St Austell town centre. A joint response to this is being delivered by police and partners to robustly deal with those involved.
