    September Update:
    - Arrest of male living at an address in Wimbledon Hall, Derby Road. Large quantity of Class A Drugs seized. Male is currently on remand for drug supply awaiting trial. Due to the drug activity and ASB at the male’s property a closure order was applied for and granted. His property was closed for 3 months. The landlord is now in the process of obtaining possession.
    - Closure order applied for and obtained for 21 Knole Road. The address was being used as a squat with lots of flying tipping. Site has been cleared of the fly-tipped waste, and arris fencing around the outer perimeter has been installed.
    - Two property closures at 19 & 20 Hamilton Close. This was due to ongoing ASB and drug activity. Closed for 3 months. Both addresses were linked with persistent and serious disorder, violence, exploitation concerns, and criminality. Incidents have included aggression towards professionals, reports of officers being assaulted, the presence of high-risk and vulnerable individuals, including missing children, suspected drug activity, and involvement from Metropolitan Police gang units. The ongoing pattern of behaviour was causing significant harm and risk to both occupants and the wider community

With regards to ongoing ASB and drug activity in Boscombe Chine Gardens since January 2026, officers have:
    - Issued four Community Resolutions for possession of cannabis.
    - Charged one male with possession of Class A drugs and possession of a bladed article.
    - Charged two males with possession of cannabis.
    - Conducted a number of stop searches under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
    - Issued Section 35 dispersal notices to individuals involved in anti-social behaviour and criminality.
    - One male currently on police bail following his arrest last week for PWITS Class A Drugs

We have also worked closely with BCP Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Team. Together, we have issued several Community Protection Warning Notices to individuals identified as being responsible for anti-social behaviour and criminality, including drug-related activity within the gardens. Earlier this year, we worked with the Parks Team to improve visibility and natural light within the gardens by having vegetation cut back along the pathway. The light that had been spray-painted has now been cleaned, and anti-climb paint has subsequently been applied.

    August Update:
    - Successful ASB closure on a flat in Wimbledon Hall Derby Road. This was due to reports of drug activity and ASB. Premises has been closed for 3 months. The landlord is now taking action in gain possession of the property.
    - An application has been submitted for a closure on a premises in Knole Road – The premises is currently being used as a squat with fly tipping, drug dealing and ASB taking place.
    - NPT officers are working closely with the council ASB and environmental health team to address the concerns of the community.

    July Update:
(This priority has been extended for another 3 months).
Following reports of drug dealing around Wimbledon Hall, Derby Road and Spencer Road, officers stopped a vehicle and detained a male. Following a search a quantity of Class A Drugs was recovered. The male has now been charged for drug supply offences and is awaiting trial at court.
An application for a closure on the male’s property has been submitted to the council ASB team. If successful, this will close the property for 3 months.

    June Update:
    - Officers arrested two males who were living on Holdenhurst Road and actively selling drugs in Boscombe Precinct. Drugs valued over £7,000, more than £1,000 cash, 6 mobile phones and multiple weapons were seized and the two males charged with multiple drugs offences and they were remanded in custody.
    - Officers identified and arrested a male that committed multiple hate crimes in the area. He has been charged and given Court bail conditions whilst awaiting trial.

    April Update:
Officers have disrupted an organised County Lines drug gang by arresting the 'line holder', seizing the mobile phone used for the drug operations and subsequently the offender was charged with drug supply offences and remanded to court.

Officers have been conducting overt and covert patrols in Boscombe Gardens, to combat reports of nuisance and drug activity in the Gardens. Officers have used dispersal powers, stop and search and also made arrests, to ensure we are having a consistent, positive presence in the area.

    March Update:
Teenagers have been causing a disturbance in the Sovereign Centre and being a nuisance to businesses. Officers attended and located the persons, dispersing them from the location and issuing banning orders.
Drug related ASB continues, but officers executed a warrant and seized a 'line phone', which is a mobile phone used by a drug dealers for their operations. This is an excellent disruption to drug dealing activities.

    Apr Update:
Officers continue to attend regular meetings with a range of partner agencies, to share information and work collaboratively towards diverting vulnerable women out of street sex working.

Officers monitor intelligence on a daily basis and this ensures that patrols in the area are focussed. Any persons intent on offending and exploiting others, are targeted for Police intervention and action. We are intelligence led and the action taken is stopping people in vehicles, utilising stop and search powers, making arrests and even visiting people at home who may have been identified as being active in the area. This work continues.

    Mar Update:
Officers conducted a walk around with the local MP, to engage with the community and discuss local concerns and issues in the area. This was a great opportunity to showcase the work the team are doing in the area and how we can work with various partners to keep improving community safety.
