    Camau a gymerwyd:

    Aim:
    Reduce drug-related activity across the ward through proactive policing, intelligence-led enforcement and partnership working.

    Key Priorities:
    Prevention: Deter drug use and dealing through visible policing and engagement.
    Enforcement: Target individuals involved in using, supplying and distribution of drugs.
    Partnership: Work with partner agencies to address underlying issues and safeguard vulnerable individuals.
    Intelligence: Develop and act upon intelligence to identify hotspots and offenders.

    Actions & Responsibilities:
    High-Visibility and Plain Clothes Patrols:
    - Deploy officers to known hotspot locations during peak times associated with drug activity.
    - Use a combination of foot and cycle patrols to increase visibility and disruption.
    - Conduct plain clothes operations where appropriate to identify active offenders.

    Targeted Enforcement:
    - Carry out stop and search where grounds exist in line with legislation and policy.
    - Execute intelligence-led warrants where appropriate.
    - Target and disrupt individuals involved in the supply of controlled drugs.
    - Work with specialist units where necessary to tackle organised criminality.

    Community Engagement & Prevention:
    - Engage with residents and local businesses to gather information and provide reassurance.
    - Promote reporting of drug-related concerns via the appropriate channels (e.g. 101, Met Online & Crimestoppers).

    Partnership Working:
    - Work with local authority, housing providers and outreach services to address locations linked to repeat drug activity.
    - Refer vulnerable individuals involved in substance misuse to support services (Operation ADDER)
    - Collaborate with agencies to address associated anti-social behaviour and safeguarding concerns.

    Intelligence Gathering:
    - Ensure all drug-related incidents are accurately recorded.
    - Identify repeat locations, offenders and emerging trends.
    - Share intelligence with neighbouring wards and relevant teams (e.g. VSU, tasking teams).

    Enforcement Strategy:
    - Prioritise enforcement against those involved in drug supply and exploitation.
    - Use appropriate disposals for possession offences, balancing enforcement with diversion where suitable.
    - Build strong evidential cases using officer statements, forensic opportunities and intelligence logs.

    Communication:
    - Update the community via Met Engage and social media on enforcement activity, outcomes and publicise successful operations to reassure the public and deter offenders.

    Reduce incidents of residential burglary across the ward through targeted patrols, prevention activity and effective partnership working.

    Key Priorities:
    Prevention: Reduce opportunities for burglary through awareness and target hardening.
    Enforcement: Identify, disrupt and prosecute offenders responsible for burglary offences.
    Partnership: Work with residents and partner agencies to improve security.
    Intelligence: Develop intelligence on offending patterns, locations and suspects.

    Actions & Responsibilities:
    High-Visibility and Plain Clothes Patrols:
    - Deploy officers to hotspot locations during peak times (e.g. evenings, overnight periods and seasonal spikes).
    - Conduct high-visibility patrols to deter offenders and reassure residents.
    - Utilise plain clothes patrols where appropriate to identify suspicious behaviour and active offenders.

    Crime Prevention & Reassurance:
    - Provide residents with tailored burglary prevention advice (e.g. secure doors/windows, use of timers, alarms and lighting).
    - Promote property marking and registration schemes.
    - Encourage reporting of suspicious activity promptly.

    Partnership Working:
    - Engage with Neighbourhood Watch and community groups to increase awareness.

    Intelligence Gathering:
    - Ensure all burglary offences are accurately recorded with detailed (method of entry, times, property targeted).
    - Identify patterns, repeat locations and linked offences.
    - Circulate intelligence regarding suspected offenders via briefing systems.
    - Share intelligence with neighbouring wards and specialist teams (e.g. CID, burglary squads).

    Enforcement Strategy:
    - Prioritise identification and arrest of prolific and high-harm offenders.
    - Conduct proactive operations targeting known suspects.
    - Utilise forensic opportunities and CCTV evidence to support investigations.
    - Work with CPS to build strong case files (statements, forensics, MG forms completed to standard).

    Communication:
    - Provide updates to residents via Met Engage and social media platforms.
    - Share crime prevention messaging and highlight successful enforcement activity.

    Key Priorities:
    Prevention: Increase visible presence and deter offenders.
    Enforcement: Respond swiftly to reported incidents and pursue repeat offenders.
    Partnership: Work collaboratively with local businesses
    Intelligence: Gather and information on offenders and hotspots.

    Actions & Responsibilities:
    High-Visibility and plain clothed patrols.
    - Deploy officers to identified hotspot locations during peak offending times.
    - Use a mix of foot and cycle patrols to maximise visibility and accessibility.
    - Conduct plain clothes operations where appropriate to identify active offenders.

    Retailer Engagement:
    - Conduct regular visits to key retailers.
    - Provide tailored crime prevention advice (e.g. CCTV coverage, product placement, staff vigilance).
    - Encourage participation in Shopwatch or similar information-sharing schemes.
    - Promote consistent reporting of all theft offences (will likely result in more theft reported increasing statistics).

    Intelligence Gathering:
    - Ensure all offences are accurately recorded and linked where appropriate.
    - Identify repeat and prolific offenders and circulate via briefing systems.
    - Share intelligence with neighbouring wards and relevant teams (e.g. CID, Safer Transport, etc.).

    Enforcement Strategy:
    - Prioritise arrest and prosecution of prolific offenders.
    - Consider out-of-court disposals for low-level/first-time offenders where appropriate.
    - Work with CPS to ensure strong, evidence-led case files (CCTV, witness statements, MG forms completed to standard).

    Communication:
    - Update local businesses and community via MetEngage or social media to publicise successful interventions to build confidence.
