This priority has been raised due to a number of incidents of anti-social behaviour in Jubilee Close, Midsomer Norton. Concerns over drug use, dealing and general anti-social behaviour in the area have been reported to police.

There remains the odd report from the area relating to ASB and, although much reduced, there is still a reported issue here and so we will continue our patrols and keep this priority running.
Residents are encouraged to report via the 101 number or via the police website to report any issues. Or via 999 if an immediate danger.

There are increasing reports of youths or young people who are driving cars without either licence or not in accordance with their licence. The cars are in some cases uninsured, untaxed and are not road legal i.e. with no MOT. They are driving around the area sometimes with several other people who are of a same or similar age.

We are aware youths are either purchasing cars for a low price on facebook or taking parents cars in the middle of the night.

We are encouraging parents to have conversations with their young people around the dangers of this behaviour, and we are asking members of the public to report any suspicious activity, driving or sightings that maybe linked.

There have been a significantly reduced amount of reports of this priority. Although, this priority will remain as where there have been reports the nature of them has been serious.
Please report any issues or intelligence around this issue so that we can take positive action.

There has been a ongoing issue with anti-social behaviour and criminal damage to the Holly Court precinct in Midsomer Norton. Shop fronts have been damaged, youths have been climbing on the roof causing damage and a danger to themselves and members of the public have experienced aggressive and anti-social behaviour directed at them.

Communication and efforts continue around this priority with the business owners and the owners of the premises.
It’s reported that the issue has significantly improved with the work that has been done by police, business owners and the improvements to the premises.
However, this will remain a priority so police can monitor and deal with any rising issues.
The case running for the area has been filed due to the vast improvement, although it is still monitored and the case can be reopened if reports increase again.

The local policing team have been made aware of a large number of reports regarding anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in the area of the Nightingale Way estate, including Merlin Way and Eagle Drive. This behaviour has taken the form of footballs being kicked deliberately at properties relentlessly and abuse being directed at residents.

Regular patrols of the Nightingale Estate has continued. From these patrols at the various highlighted times, no children causing ASB or criminal activity have been witnessed by officers. Some reports of ASB are still being made by residents and so these patrols and attention to the area will continue.
An open meeting with other agencies and the residents has now happened, no major update has come from this event.
The case for the area continues to run.
