Anti-Social Behaviour Update and Forward Planning

Following reports from local residents, we have issued the main perpetrators of anti-social behaviour with Community Protection Warnings (CPWs). A Community Protection Warning is a formal notice designed to address behaviour that is having a negative impact on the local community. Individuals who have been served with a warning are required to cease the behaviour outlined within it. Failure to comply may result in further enforcement action, including the issuing of a Community Protection Notice (CPN).
Looking ahead, we are planning a number of bike marking events in the area to help residents protect their property and reduce cycle theft. These events will provide an opportunity for cyclists to have their bikes security marked and registered, making them easier to identify and return if recovered.
In addition, our Design Out Crime team will be working with local businesses and property owners to identify and improve areas that may attract anti-social behaviour. This includes providing crime prevention advice and recommending environmental improvements to target-harden locations, making them less vulnerable to crime and disorder. Through these combined efforts, we aim to improve community safety and reduce opportunities for anti-social behaviour in the area.
