Officers are continuing to take action to address alcohol-related antisocial behaviour within the area. Antisocial behaviour includes actions that cause nuisance, alarm or distress to others and can have a significant impact on local residents and businesses. Community Protection Warnings and Community Protection Notices have been issued to individuals responsible for ongoing problems. These are formal measures designed to stop behaviour that is having a negative effect on the community and can lead to further enforcement action if the behaviour continues.

A Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) is also being introduced to give officers and partner agencies additional powers to manage alcohol-related issues in public places. A PSPO is a legal order introduced by a local council to address behaviours that have a negative impact on the local community. For those who repeatedly engage in antisocial behaviour, officers are seeking Criminal Behaviour Orders. A Criminal Behaviour Order is a court order that places restrictions on an individual's behaviour and can be used to prevent further offending.

High-visibility patrols will continue in the area to provide reassurance, deter antisocial behaviour and support enforcement activity. Residents are encouraged to report concerns and share information with their local neighbourhood team through community meetings or My Community Voice, a free two-way messaging service that provides local policing updates and allows residents to raise issues affecting their area.

    Camau a gymerwyd:

Officers are carrying out high-visibility patrols in areas where concerns about drug-related activity have been raised. As part of this work, officers may use stop and search powers where there are legal grounds to suspect someone may be carrying drugs or other prohibited items. A stop and search is a police power that allows officers to search a person for items linked to criminal activity. These patrols help officers gather information, deter offending and respond to concerns raised by the community.

Officers are also working closely with partner agencies to identify and support vulnerable people who may be at risk. This includes carrying out welfare checks to make sure individuals are safe, receive appropriate support and are connected with the services they may need.

Information from residents plays an important role in helping police tackle drug-related activity. Officers will continue to focus on prevention, community engagement and enforcement action where appropriate, helping to reduce harm, support vulnerable people and keep local communities safe.

Officers continue to focus on tackling antisocial behaviour (ASB) within the area. Antisocial behaviour includes actions that cause nuisance, alarm or distress to others and can have a significant impact on local residents and businesses. Community Protection Warnings and Community Protection Notices have been issued to individuals responsible for ongoing problems. These are formal measures designed to stop behaviour that is negatively affecting the community and can lead to further enforcement action if the behaviour continues.

Plans are also in place to introduce a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO), which is a legal order introduced by a local council to address behaviours that have a negative impact on the community. In this case, it is intended to help tackle issues such as street drinking and related antisocial behaviour in specific areas.

Officers are also working closely with the Child Centred Policing Team to address antisocial behaviour involving young people. This includes home visits, early intervention, education and support to help prevent further incidents and encourage positive behaviour. Where necessary, officers may also use dispersal powers, which allow police to direct individuals to leave an area for a specified period if their behaviour is causing or is likely to cause antisocial behaviour.

High-visibility patrols will continue to provide reassurance to residents, deter offending and respond to local concerns. Residents are encouraged to share any information or concerns with their neighbourhood policing team through local community meetings or My Community Voice, a free two-way messaging service that allows residents to receive local policing updates and report issues affecting their area.
