    • Residential and commercial Burglary alongside inquisitive crime such as theft from motor vehicles
       
    • To target and address multiple road safety concerns including driving under the influence, speeding and parking offences across the ward area
       
    • To act on community intelligence to tackle and disrupt the illegal supply of drugs and the linked anti-social behaviour which affects those living in the community

    Camau a gymerwyd:

    • Our teams are actively working to reduce burglary offences by conducting intelligence led patrols at key times to disrupt and deter offenders. Alongside this, we are strengthening intelligence development through engagement with local businesses and providing tailored crime prevention advice relevant to their premises.
       
    • Traffic operations are ongoing in Chapel Allerton to reduce and deter dangerous driving. Locations are chosen based on identified hotspot areas and concerns raised by local residents. In the last 3 months North East NPT have seized 62 vehicles and issued 181 fixed penalty notices. 
       
    • High-visibility patrols will continue throughout the Chapel Allerton ward area, supported by a range of enforcement measures to disrupt drug supply, including the execution of warrants where intelligence supports this action. We encourage residents to help by reporting any suspicious activity or concerns to the police, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

    • Tackling antisocial behaviour in the Oakwood area 
      We focus on areas of ASB and vehicle nuisance on West Avenue and Roundhay park and to provide a visible deterrent to crime and antisocial behaviour.
       
    • Residential burglary

    • With warmer weather and increased visitor numbers, both factors historically associated with higher levels of anti-social behaviour in the Roundhay area, early partnership planning has been implemented to help mitigate this risk. In support of this approach, a number of additional community contact points have been held in recent weeks, including within Roundhay Park, providing opportunities to engage with residents, offer reassurance, and address local concerns.
       
    • Increased targeted patrols are being undertaken at key times to support the reduction of residential burglary, deter offending, and provide public reassurance.

    • Traffic operations continue to be conducted across the Harewood Ward, including surrounding villages, to prevent and deter dangerous driving. Operation sites are selected based on identified hotspot locations and concerns raised by local residents. In the last 3 months North East NPT have seized a total of 62 vehicles and issued 181 fixed penality notices for a range of reasons. 
       
    • Intelligence-led patrols are being carried out at key times to disrupt and deter potential burglary offenders. We continue to use a range of crime prevention measures to improve property security and reduce the risk of burglary across the area. As a NPT we are also using our social media channels to share crime prevention advice and practical guidance on how residents can best protect and secure their homes.     • The Leeds Wildlife and Rural Crime team regularly engages with local farms to provide tailored crime‑prevention advice aimed at preventing rural burglaries and theft.     • Our Police Community Support Officers regularly deliver fraud awareness sessions within the community. PCSO Crossland frequently attends local community groups to raise awareness of emerging fraud trends, provide advice on recognising common scams, and share practical information to help residents protect themselves from becoming victims of fraud.

      Speeding is a concern in areas across the ward.

      In the residential communities in Wetherby itself and the villages of Boston Spa, Clifford and Bramham.
       
    • Commercial Burglaries
      Address commercial burglaries when they occur, most notably on the Thorpe Arch estate.
       
    • Fraud

    • Traffic operations continue to be carried out across the Wetherby ward to prevent and deter dangerous driving and improve road safety. Enforcement locations are selected using intelligence, collision data, and concerns raised by local residents to ensure resources are focused on identified hotspot areas. Over the last three months, officers from the North East Neighbourhood Policing Team have issued 181 traffic offence tickets and seized 62 vehicles, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to tackling unsafe and unlawful use of the roads.
       
    • Our PCSOs are working closely with businesses in the town centre to address anti-social behaviour through partnership initiatives such as ShopWatch, PubWatch, and BusinessWatch. These schemes encourage information sharing between local businesses and partner agencies, helping to identify issues quickly and coordinate an effective response. Through regular engagement, high-visibility patrols and ongoing collaboration with the business community, the team remains committed to reducing anti-social behaviour and ensuring the town centre remains a safe and welcoming place for businesses, residents, and visitors.
       
    • To address residential burglary, our team has been carrying out targeted patrols in identified hotspot areas to deter and detect offenders. These proactive efforts have been supported by ongoing crime prevention activity and engagement with residents to help improve home security and reduce opportunities for crime. We are pleased to report that burglaries continue to show a downward trend, reflecting the positive impact of these targeted measures and partnership working across the area.
       
    • Our team continues to build strong relationships with local businesses and carries out regular high-visibility patrols in the town centre and other key areas, including Thorpe Arch, to help prevent and deter crime. PCSOs also provide tailored crime prevention advice to businesses, helping them identify ways to improve security and protect their premises. Through ongoing engagement and partnership working, the team remains committed to supporting local businesses and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents, employees, and visitors alike.
       
    • Our PCSOs regularly deliver fraud awareness sessions within the community, helping residents stay informed about the latest scams and fraud trends. PCSO Crossland frequently attends local community groups to raise awareness of emerging fraud tactics and provide practical advice on how individuals can protect themselves from becoming victims. Through these engagement opportunities, residents are encouraged to remain vigilant, recognise the warning signs of fraud, and report any concerns, helping to build a more informed and resilient community.

    Alwoodley Ward Area

    • Residential Burglary - The residential parts of the ward immediately north of the Ring Road both to the East and West of its junction with Harrogate Road are particular hotspots and it is believed that the main threat is from offenders travelling in from other parts of Leeds and Bradford.
       
    • Theft of motor vehicles

    • As a team, we have planned and conducted targeted patrols to help prevent residential burglaries by deterring criminal activity. In addition, we have been sharing helpful crime prevention advice across our social media channels to support residents in securing their homes. 
       
    • Although levels of motor vehicle theft remain low, we take a proactive approach through engagement events to deliver the latest vehicle security guidance. These events help residents understand evolving criminal tactics and adopt preventative measures to reduce the risks associated with advancing technology.

    • Road safety - The team will be focusing on antisocial vehicle use including speeding, drink/drug driving, careless driving and the use of off-road vehicles on the road. 
       
    • Residential Burglary - We will use intelligence led patrols in the areas of Church Lane, Church Avenue, Greenwood Mount and Green Road to prevent potential burglary crimes

       In July some of our PCSO's held a speed awareness event at Meanwood Church of England Primary allowing the children to have a go using our speed gun outside of their school whilst raising the importance of Road Safety. Click here to read: 
       

    • In Moortown the team continues to deliver intelligence-led patrols at key times and locations to deter and disrupt suspected burglary activity. This is supported by ongoing crime prevention initiatives aimed at enhancing property security, increasing community awareness, and reducing the risk of burglary and other acquisitive crime.
