    We work with the community and local partners, while also looking at our own data, to come up with priorities for North Yarmouth for the next three months. This is currently: Tackling anti-social behaviour, with a focus on street drinking in the marketplace / town centre

    Camau a gymerwyd:

    A man has been reported for breaching his ASBI in the Town Centre, on the day of his prison release, and another man was issued a community resolution for criminal damage to a door.
    Further visits to licence premises in the Town Centre and King Street have been conducted.
    Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Warrant at a premises in Town resulted in three arrests; 1 person for breaching their CBO and 2 people for robbery
    A man was charged and remanded for theft from several shops in and around the town centre.
    Daily patrols of King Street, Regent Road, and St Georges Park. Intelligence has been obtained and will be monitored.
    We’ve assisted parking enforcement in tackling problem parking on King Street, with officers issuing parking fines.
    Pop up surgeries to come and meet us in person held at the Place and Greyfriars, allowing members of the public to meaningfully engage about any local issues.
    Vulnerable persons given help and support with the help of partner agencies.

    Dedicated hot spot patrols and business visited. Use of CCTV to identify offenders and issues.

    Camau a gymerwyd:

    Officers have responded to vehicle ASB concerns, completing operations on the weekend evenings when there are lots of car enthusiasts present along South Beach Parade, Marine Parade, further alongside GY seafront and on surrounding roads. Over several weekends there has been:

    1 arrest for suspected drug driving and possession of a Class B drug.
    6 Section 59 warnings issued for anti-social driving/riding offences.
    3 breaches of the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) issued.
    1 vehicle seized for having no insurance.
    3 verbal warnings given for various ASB and traffic-related issues.
    1 Traffic Offence Report issued.
    1 ticket issued after a passenger was found travelling with a child on their lap.
    3 drivers stopped regarding lighting offences and excessively loud music.
    Officers engaged with numerous drivers, riders, pedestrians, car enthusiasts and other members of the public, listening to concerns, offering advice and encouraging responsible behaviour.

    The town centre beat managers have been tackling crime and ASB, including vehicle ASB, within the centre of the area:
    - A woman was arrested following two thefts from shops in the marketplace. The stolen items were seized, returned to the store, and the woman was presented to court.
    - Two teenagers were located and searched in relation to a shop theft, and two expensive coats, reported as stolen, were recovered.
    - One woman was arrested and later charged with threatening behaviour and resisting a constable in the execution of duty, following a reported assault.
    - A man was charged with outraging public decency and common assault for an incident on King Street. He appeared at court and was handed a fine and suspended prison sentence.
    - Two people were stopped after being identified by a store for shop theft the previous day on Regent Road. A community resolution was issued.
    - One Criminal Behaviour Order has been issued and four others enforced; two people were arrested for breaching their orders, one woman was charged with five separate breaches, and one man received a prison sentence after appearing in court for breaching his order
    - A privately owned e-scooter was spotted being used and seized. Reminder, the use of private e-scooters on public land is illegal
    - Dedicated patrols of King Street and Regent Road have also taken place with words of advice issued to delivery drivers and vehicles contravening the road signage around access times on Regent Road.
    - A vehicle was spotted parking illegally on King Street and when documents were checked, the driver didn’t have a licence. The car was seized
    - Joint working with GY Borough Council's street enforcers continue around the Town Centre, King Street, Regent Road and St Georges Park, with information gathered at all locations.
