ASB Wyrley Estate- off Goscote Lane, Walsall.

    Issued 19 May 2026

    Action taken:

We are aware of ongoing reports of youth related ASB in this area, with concerns being raised from local residents.

The issues brought to our attention are the kicking and knocking of residents doors and loitering by properties. The team have been carrying out targeted patrols in this area at the times these incidents are occurring. We are also working with Walsall Council & Community Protection Team to address these issues.

We are actively investigating the matter and are in the process of identifying the individuals involved. We have supported local residents in establishing a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme and will use this scheme to keep residents updated on the work we are doing to tackle these issues. We have also been keeping local people updated and reassured via our messaging service wmnow.

    February Update
Patrols have been continuing in the area. The team have noted a decrease in calls to service for this location in regards to this particular ASB.

    Update March
The team have received further reports of the door knocking at this location. We have once again requested CCTV and are actively trying to ID the person/s involved. Patrols are being carried out and will continue.

We are looking to establish a Street Watch scheme in the Wyrley View area of Blakenall, and we need your help to make it a success. Street Watch is all about neighbours working together to deter crime and ASB, report suspicious activity and foster a stronger, safer environment for everyone.
