About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

    Hanwell Broadway - Drugs and ASB Green Man Lane including Felix Road & Endsleigh Road, West Ealing, W1£

    This ongoing priority set for the team. Previously the team has conducted a lot of work tackling drug related issues with some great success.

    Short term plans:
    • More High visibility patrols in the area to deter such activity and reassure the general public.
    • Plain-clothes patrols to apprehend perpetrators and to bring them to justice.

    Medium term plans:
    • Persistent offenders to be targeted by use of preventative enforcement tactics such as Community Protection Notices and build up evidence for Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBO) or civil injunctions

    Action taken:

    Extra patrols have been organised in the area to target ongoing issues.

    Drug search warrant executed at address and male arrested for possession of drugs.

    One male arrested for Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. Suspect found in possession of 27 wraps of crack cocaine and 11 wraps of Heroin and over £100 cash.

    Hanwell Broadway - Drugs – Grosvenor Road and surrounding streets.

    This is a new police priority set for the team.

    Short term plans:
    1. More High visibility patrols in the area to deter such activity and reassure the general public.
    2. Plain-clothes patrols to apprehend perpetrators and to bring them to justice.
    3. Persistent offenders to be issued community protection warnings.

    Action taken:

    One male suspect drug dealer arrested in possession of 26 wraps of Heroin and over £500 cash after being identified via Met engage by the local community.

    Another female suspect persistently causing issues in the area had been issued community protection warning and has been arrested for failing to comply with the conditions set by community protection notice. Female to be issued a criminal behaviour order.

    An address in the local vicinity linked to drug dealing and police having executed a drug search warrant at the venue previously are looking to apply for closure order.

    In the local West Ealing town centre, W13 area covered by both Hanwell Broadway and Walpole wards over 60 community protection warnings issued to persistent and prolific offenders. this has lead to 13 of the individuals being issued community protection notices and a further 2 have been issued Criminal Behaviour Orders.

    A further venue identified linked to drugs is being pursued jointly with Ealing council for closure order.

    Key Individuals
    Suspect 1
    o Believed to facilitate gatherings of drug users and street drinkers at Hanwell Clocktower.
    o Associated with a group of 4–6 street drinkers engaging in rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour, causing issues for nearby businesses, including Clocktower Café.
    o Recently arrested for breach of CPN and possession of Class A drugs.
    o Further actions include CPW/CPN progression and liaison with Ealing Council regarding injunction options and CCTV coverage.

    Suspect 2
    o Linked to serious VAWG related concerns, including Threats to Kill and Rape near Lidl, W7.
    o Resides at Uxbridge Road, above commercial premises (HMO)
    o Intelligence and officer encounters indicate Suspect poses a risk to the safety of women and girls.
    o Arrested, charged, and remanded in custody for multiple domestic Type 2 offences.
    o Ongoing liaison with Social Landlord regarding tenancy enforcement and safeguarding implications.

    Suspect 3
    o On 26th March 2026 Sexual Risk Order granted by Ealing Magistrates court.

    o Recent increase in drug related ASB and street drinking.
    o Issues had reduced during summer but have risen again.
    o Suspect 1 identified via intelligence as a key influence on street drinking activity.

    Uxbridge Road
    o Ongoing ASB and VAWG related concerns linked to Suspect 2 (now remanded).
    o Police have contacted the registered social landlord who have agreed for eviction proceedings.

    o Currently closed, potential reopening as a new public house under new ownership.
    • Proposed Casino
    o Planning application contested by police.
    o Decision currently appealed and will be reviewed by Planning inspectorate an independent executive agency acting on the behalf of secretary of state.

    Enforcement, Partnership, and Safeguarding Activity
    • Ward priority shifted from drug related ASB to VAWG, including harassment and intimidation.
    • CPW/CPN actions ongoing or progressed where appropriate.
    • Ealing Council engaged regarding injunctions, CCTV tasking, and environmental controls (liaison via Shannon Mullen).
    • Social Landlord engaged regarding Suspect 2’s tenancy and risk management.
