    Force Priority - Vehicle Crime
    We are currently engaged in tackling vehicle crimes in the Quinton area. We are also working closely with other departments within West Midlands Police and community partners to gather intelligence and target offenders involved in vehicle-related crime.

    Action taken:

    Vehicle crime offences are concentrated around the Welsh House Farm estate. Neighbourhood officers will be increasing the number of patrols in this area to deter any potential offenders and reduce vehicle crime in this area.

    PCSOs to conduct additional patrols and to deliver crime prevent advice and support.

    Local Priority- Retail Crime
    Retail crime continues to have a significant impact on local businesses, staff, customers and the wider community.

    Action taken:

    We are committed to working closely with retailers, partner agencies and our communities to reduce shop theft, violence and abuse towards shop workers, and other offences affecting local businesses.

    The Particular focus will be the Co-Op on Hagley Road and Court Oak Road. Specific offenders to be targeted to help reduce the offence recorded at the stores. Officers will also be attending the locations to deter potential offending and to engage with staff.

    Community Priority - Drug Use
    Drug use has a detrimental impact on our communities, contributing to anti-social behaviour, violence exploitation and other criminal offences.

    Action taken:

    Following concerns raised by residents in the area of Jackson Way, Quinton and information gathered through local engagement, officers will be conducting stop searches in the location.
