About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Anti social behaviour in the tower blocks.

    Issued 21 April 2026

    Action taken:

Residents are concerned about ongoing anti social behaviour in the tower blocks, Bridport House, Beech Hill House and Kempsey House. Neighbourhood officers have been patrolling the blocks and we will continue to work closely with Birmingham City Council and housing associations to tackle the issues.

    Actioned 15 May 2026

  • Priority:

    Parking obstructions, untaxed, sorn vehicles.

    Issued 21 April 2026

    Action taken:

Residents have reported numerous issues relating to parking obstructions, untaxed vehicles and sorn vehicles in and around the area of Kineton Croft. Officers have been checking vehicle periodically and will take action where we can whether it be a ticket or seizing the vehicle.

    Actioned 15 May 2026

  • Priority:

Anti social behaviour caused by off road motorcycles and speeding vehicles.

    Issued 21 April 2026

    Action taken:

We have been made aware from our police and community meetings that this is still a requirement as a priority so we will continue to work on this matter. If you have any phone footage or doorbell footage of this sort of offence please make contact with one of the team and we will happily review. If you know where the bikes are stored please contact ourselves or Crimestoppers anonymously. We will look to organise operations with neighbourhood officers and the road policing team working together as we have previously done this and had positive action in seizing bikes in the area

further patrols will continue throughout the lighter / warmer months in order to tackle this issue and employ a wider police response using specialist departments

    Actioned 15 May 2026
