About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Anti-Social Behaviour - We are currently responding to reports of anti-social behaviour across Newport Pagnell, including vehicle nuisance, noise disturbances, and careless driving.

    Issued 22 June 2026

    Action taken:

Officers continue to carry out high-visibility patrols and working closely with partner agencies to address concerns and develop long term solutions. There are designated police operations in place to build an intelligence picture of the offenders, and repeat offenders will be dealt with robustly.

  • Priority:

    Property Security

    Issued 02 July 2026

    Action taken:

We recently engaged with local residents through a property security talk, sharing crime prevention advice and guidance on keeping homes secure.

We will continue to tackle burglary, theft of tools and equipment, vehicle crime, and criminal damage through increased patrols in key locations, working closely with the community to develop intelligence, and regularly sharing crime prevention and safeguarding advice through local media and social media channels.

    Actioned 15 July 2026

  • Priority:

Road Safety on Key Routes Around Newport Pagnell

    Issued 02 July 2026

    Action taken:

Residents have raised concerns regarding speeding, dangerous driving and traffic related offences, particularly around school zones and busy commuter routes.

Officers will conduct high-visibility patrols along affected routes to deter offending and provide reassurance to the community.

We will continue to monitor the situation and conduct speed enforcement alongside Community Speedwatch with the intention to take action against those who's driving poses a risk to the community.
