About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    Anti-Social Behaviour and drug-related activity on the streets and in our green open spaces.

    Through a recent Resident survey through TV Alerts and Police reporting systems data this issue is a priority.

    High visibility proactive patrols will be completed in the following locations:
    > Larchfield Road
    > Westborough Road
    > Grenfell Road
    > Brunel Close / The Gullet
    Open spaces:
    Little Thicket Car Park – Cox Green
    Ockwells Road and Park – Cox Green
    Desborough Park – Desborough
    Maidenhead Golf Club (now closed)
    Braywick Sport Ground – Braywick

    As of 5th of July we have 3 partial or full closure orders on addresses. These have either been extended to allow for housing services to evict or continue to work with the home owners to prevent further ASB.
    HOLIDAY INN, Maidenhead – We are continuing to work in close relationships and conducting continued patrols and engagement. If you have any concerns then please use the your area page on the TVP website to contact us.

    08/08/2026: Both PC's and PCSO's have been patrolling the open spaces and area mentioned especially around the Brunel Close area during the evenings.
    A new closer order has been completed in Homeside Close in order to reduce ASB and drug use. July has been an extremely busy month in regards to demand but we look forward to completing further work in these areas.

    Speeding, E-Scooter and E-bike Use.

    After a TV Alerts Survey a large number of residents in Maidenhead South have stated that Speeding, E-Bike and E-scooter use around school start and finish times are a priority issue.

    Speeding: High visibility patrols and speeding operations to be conducted on
    Braywick Road
    Shoppenhangers Road
    Moneyrow Green

    We will be looking to complete high visibility deployments around school times in due course under Operation Pulse.
    Main focus will be on:
    Highfield Lane/ Wessex Way
    Shoppenhanger Road
    Altwood Road

    08/08/2026 - We are looking to organise Op Pulse E-bike and E-scooter operations over the next week and will update TV alerts and Facebook with the results.

    Shoplifting and Retail Crime
    We know this is a wide spread issue and the shops in our residential communities deserve our support. We will work with our main stores that service our communities to prevent crime and tackle offenders
