About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    ASB - Drug Dealing/Drug Use

    Issued 12 October 2026

    Action taken:

Officers from the Neighbourhood Team identified concerns relating to drug dealing and associated criminality in the Cippenham area. In response, a range of proactive measures have been taken to disrupt offenders and protect the local community.

Two Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs) have been obtained against known offenders, helping to prevent further offending and anti-social behaviour. Additional suspects have also been identified, arrested and released on bail while investigations continue. These individuals are being closely monitored by the Neighbourhood Policing Team.

As part of ongoing efforts to tackle drug-related crime, officers successfully obtained a Closure Order for an address believed to be linked to drug dealing activity, preventing its continued use for criminal purposes.

The Neighbourhood Team remains committed to identifying and disrupting those involved in criminal activity and will continue to carry out proactive patrols and enforcement activity to keep Cippenham safe.

  • Priority:

ASB - E-bike and dirt bile misuse

    Issued 12 October 2026

    Action taken:

Officers have received a number of reports concerning the use of off-road bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters by young people in the Cippenham area, with concerns raised about anti-social behaviour and road safety.

Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) are actively reviewing CCTV footage and carrying out enquiries to identify those responsible. Where appropriate, riders and their families are being engaged with, and words of advice and Community Protection Warnings are being issued to help prevent further incidents.

The newly appointed Neighbourhood Supervisor is working closely with PCSOs to develop targeted operations aimed at tackling the misuse of e-bikes and e-scooters in the area.

High-visibility patrols and enforcement activity will continue, with officers committed to addressing community concerns, improving safety and taking action against those using vehicles irresponsibly or unlawfully.

    Actioned 12 October 2026

  • Priority:

    Anti-Social Behaviour - Asda Carpark

    Issued 12 October 2026

    Action taken:

Officers have received reports of groups gathering in the Asda car park, particularly during the evening and late-night hours, with concerns raised about noise and anti-social behaviour.

In response, Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) and neighbourhood officers have been carrying out regular patrols at key times to deter anti-social behaviour, engage with those involved and provide reassurance to local residents and businesses.

Officers have also worked closely with Asda management, providing crime prevention and situational crime prevention advice to help reduce opportunities for anti-social behaviour and improve safety within the car park.

Patrols will continue, and the Neighbourhood Team remains committed to addressing concerns raised by the community and ensuring the area remains safe and welcoming for all.
