Regular patrols continue in The Curve, St Ethelbert’s and Yew Tree Road Park following the displacement of street drinkers from the town centre. Officers will maintain a visible presence, engage with individuals causing ASB, utilise enforcement powers where necessary and work with partner agencies to support long-term resolution of the issue.

* High-visibility patrols continue to take place in identified ASB hotspots to deter anti-social behaviour and reassure the public.
* Officers continue to disrupt street drinking through engagement, enforcement activity and the seizure of alcohol where appropriate.
* Since 22 August, 73 cans and bottles of alcohol have been seized, with further action being taken to reduce alcohol-related ASB.
* Partnership working remains key to supporting vulnerable individuals and addressing repeat offending.
* Appropriate enforcement powers continue to be used, with evidence being gathered to support further interventions where necessary.

Reduce theft from motor vehicles in the Town Centre and Chalvey by promoting vehicle security, gathering intelligence and targeting offending.

* Officers continue to conduct proactive patrols in identified hotspot areas to deter crime and anti-social behaviour.
* Engagement with residents, businesses and partner agencies remains a key part of developing intelligence and identifying emerging concerns.
*Crime prevention advice, including promotion of the Clear Car campaign, continues to be delivered to reduce opportunities for offending.
* Known offenders remain subject to monitoring, with stop and search powers used where lawful and proportionate to disrupt criminality.
*Community members are encouraged to submit CCTV, dashcam and doorbell footage to support investigations and help identify offenders.

Throughout the summer, Neighbourhood Policing Teams conducted patrols around areas of open water, particularly the Jubilee River, during periods of extreme heat, promoting water safety awareness.

Water safety patrols were carried out along the Jubilee River throughout the summer. With cooler autumn temperatures and reduced usage of open water locations, this priority is now concluded. Thank you for your continued vigilance and support.
