Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Anti-social behaviour remains a priority in the August 2026 community survey.

    Issued 08 September 2026

    Action taken:

The Aylesbury West neighbourhood policing team are dealing with this new priority as voted by the community. Each month the reported figures will be compared to the previous month to ensure progress is being made and this data will be in future updates.
The team are working with local residents and businesses to gather intel to try and identify offenders. We will have partnership working with local councils and housing to tackle hard hit areas. Minimum monthly Have Your Say events will be published on social media and TV Alerts to enable our community to come and speak to us directly about any issues.
Sept Update: 35% increase on recorded cases of ASB in August, unfortunately we tend to see an increase in the warmer/lighter summer months. Police operation signs placed in locations around Aylesbury Dynamos club and car park and increased foot patrols with stop search where needed.
Oct update: unfortunately we saw an 133% increase in recorded ASB incidents and crimes in Sept. A police operation is in progress in high target areas, with hi vis foot patrols. Sept also saw several plain clothes operations at Broadfields retail park, positive stop searches.
Actions will be reviewed 30th monthly to ensure progress being made and the priority will be reviewed quarterly as per the community survey results.
If you have any information or wish to make a report please call 101 or report online at www.thamesvalley.police.uk
