Drug use and County Lines Dealing

    Issued 12 July 2026

    Action taken:

Police have been patrolling identified Hotspot areas, alongside utilising Stop and Search Powers and Search warrants when supported by information and intelligence. In support of these efforts, Section 8 Notices have been issued to addresses linked to drug use and/or supply and follow up visits conducted to proactively prevent and detect crime.

    Actioned 12 July 2026

  • Priority:

Haverhill Town Centre street drinking and ASB

    Issued 12 July 2026

    Action taken:

Police have conducted proactive patrols in ASB hotspots, and where persistent offenders have been identified have issued police & court orders such as Community Protection Notices (CPNs) and Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs).
Police have also been taking robust action against any breaches of previously issued orders, alongside taking action against identified breaches of the existing Haverhill Public Space Protection Order that already prevents drinking alcohol in the area of Haverhill High Street.

    Actioned 12 July 2026

  • Priority:

This covers multiple areas, such as Downs Place, Rogers Road and Tower Court in Haverhill, Suffolk.

    Issued 12 July 2026

    Action taken:

Police have conducted increased patrols in the areas which have raised concerns, and have been building police intelligence and information regarding these community issues. Joint working has also been completed with partner agencies, ensuring a multi-agency approach is taken to deal with issues raised by members of the community.
