  • Priority:

    Residential Burglaries in Endon area

    Issued 27 February 2026

    Action taken:

There have been recent incidents of residential burglaries in the Endon area. Officers are actively addressing these concerns to ensure the safety and security of the community. The incidents have involved local youths, prompting a coordinated response from law enforcement and community partners.
Police officers have conducted thorough investigations into the reported burglaries. As a result of these enquiries, a young male has been arrested in connection with the offences. The individual has been referred to the Youth Offending Team for further assessment and intervention. This approach aims to address the underlying factors contributing to youth involvement in criminal activity and to support rehabilitation.
In addition to enforcement actions, officers are working closely with partner agencies to prevent further escalation of offending. This collaborative effort includes community outreach, increased patrols, and engagement with local organisations.
Moorlands local policing team encourage residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. Community cooperation is essential in preventing crime and supporting ongoing investigations. Residents are advised to take appropriate security measures, such as locking doors and windows, and to share information with local police if they have concerns.
The Youth Offending Team is dedicated to providing support and guidance to young individuals involved in criminal behaviour. By offering intervention programs and resources, the team works to reduce reoffending and foster positive outcomes for youth in the community.
For further information or to report concerns, residents can contact the local police station or visit the official website. Community members are also encouraged to participate in neighbourhood watch programs and attend public safety meetings.
