About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    We have conducted joint partnership patrols with civil enforcement officers and continue to share intel with each other.

    Antisocial behaviour - youth nuisance - Trecco Bay Caravan Park

    Action taken:

    We have patrolled the Caravan Park and liaised with Security staff.
    A small number of local youths have been issued with Trecco Watch banning notices and two youths issued ASB referrals for their continuing behaviour.
    Action taken has been updated through SWL messaging.
    We arranged two emergency services fun days which attracted a large amount of visitors.
