    We work with the community and local partners, as well as looking at our own data to come up with the priority that we will have for Wymondham for the next three months:
    Road Safety across South Norfolk

    Action taken:

    We’ve been conducting speed enforcement in key locations in Wymondham on Chapel Lane and Tuttles Lane East during busy periods where tickets have been has been issued for excess speed.

    We also conducted mobile patrols around the wider Wymondham area where tickets have been issued for failing to wear a seat belt and misuse of fog lights.

    A Section 59 warning issued to one driver for having an altered exhaust to increase noise.

    We have conducted mobile patrols in Wymondham where a vehicle was stopped for no insurance.

    Road Safety across South Norfolk

    Action taken:

    We have carried out dedicated road safety dedicated patrols.  
                     
    Conducted speed enforcement in key locations in Wymondham on Chapel Lane and Tuttles Lane East during busy periods where Traffic Offences Reports have been has been issued for excess speed.

    Liaised with local parish council to get a vehicle in a dangerous condition removed.

    Liaised with local parish council and Highways to get speed limit signs moved and corrected after a discrepancy was reported.

    Liaised with public regarding parking near to schools and vehicles using pavement.

    Spoken with council regarding ideas on how to improve safer school road closure initiative.

    Officers were on the A11 near Spooner Row, Wymondham on 21 May and had to pull over a couple of vehicles. One driver was pulled over and reported for going 120mph. The second was a young driver who was using their parents car without supervision, whilst only on their provisional licence, had no insurance and was speeding at 93mph. The driver was reported and the vehicle was seized.

    Officers located a car that had cloned plates in Wymondham and seized the vehicle.
