About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

We work with the community and local partners, while also looking at our own data, to come up with priorities for Stalham for the next three months. These are currently:
Tackling antisocial behaviour, drug misuse and retail theft.

    Issued 12 March 2026

    Action taken:

We’ve increased high-visibility patrols in local hotspots in response to reports of antisocial behaviour involving young people, and delivered six letters by hand to young people causing issues at Tesco.

We’ve taken the same approach with six young people identified as being involved in antisocial behaviour at Stalham Staithe.

We’ve met with district and town councillors to discuss recent antisocial behaviour reports, and met with students at Stalham High School to promote positive choices, and policing in their community.

Foot patrols in town centre, Sutton, and wider Stalham.

Visits to addresses in Portafield, Stalham with Victory Homes in relation to reports of noise, inappropriate language and criminal damage.

Visits to addresses in Blofield Loke, Hoveton with Victory Homes in relation to antisocial behaviour. Residents in Portalfield, Stalham, following ASB, criminal damage and public order, have also been conducted.

Officers had a meeting with Broads Authority to address ASB from the Liveboards, and interventions were discussed.

    Actioned 21 May 2026
