About us

    Theft from Motor Vehicle across entire ward

    Action taken:

    SNT have conducted plain clothes patrols across night shifts in area and utilised covert vehicles. Successful stop and searches resulted in drugs seized. Vulnerable residents visited and given crime prevention advice

    Hoe Street E17 and surrounding roads

    Multiple reports of drugs being openly dealt around Hoe Street, Greenleaf Road and Jewel Road. This accompanied with females being openly harassed in the street during their commute to and from work

    Action taken:

    Officers have conducted targeted patrols. Community Protection Notices and Criminal Behaviour Orders have given to prolific offender who now can not enter E17 area. Community Protection Notice given to secondary offender with a view to gain a Criminal Behaviour Order at court in future. Monthly Traffic Ops held on Hoe Street E17. Plain Clothes operation currently in action to increase stop and searches and deal with offenders proactively.

    Drug use at Lloyd Park - There are concerns about males going to Lloyd Park and using/dealing drugs in a bushy area next to William Morris Gallery. In response to this officers will perform a number of targeted patrols over the next few months to tackle the issue and prosecute any offenders involved in illegal activity in the park.

    Action taken:

    Officers have conducted number of targeted patrols and found people smoking drugs on the location in Lloyd Park. Offenders have been served with Community resolutions, Fixed Penalty Notices and being street charged. Offenders have also been served with ASB warning where strong word of advice given not to be in the location and cause ASB or smoke drugs. Officers will continue their targeted patrols of the location.
