About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Theft and shoplifting in the Lancaster Road area.

    Issued 04 December 2025

    Action taken:

Ward officers will conduct uniformed and plain-clothed patrols in the area, working with the local business to identify and prosecute the offenders.

Giving offenders post-conviction orders banning them from the area.

Officers continue to deal with shoplifting within this area and the shops. Recent arrests have been made. A mix of both uniformed and plain clothes patrols will continue.

    Actioned 15 June 2026

  • Priority:

Rise in thefts of and from motor vehicles, including vans and high value keyless cars.

    Issued 04 December 2025

    Action taken:

Crime prevention stalls across the ward offering advice.

Regular patrols in hotspot areas to prevent and detect offences. OP RENT currently in place to provide additional funding for extra patrols.

    Actioned 15 June 2026

  • Priority:

Anti social behaviour in parks and open spaces including dog attacks.

    Issued 04 December 2025

    Action taken:

Patrols conducted in areas of reported drug dealing and drug use.

Enfield Council have re-implemented the PSPO. Dogs must now be kept on a lead at all times in both Whitewebbs golf course and in the Forty Hall Estate (in the walled garden, around the lake at the front of the house).

A lead must also be put on a dog upon request in a large number of open spaces across the ward.

For more information please visit the Enfield council website PSPO page.

    **********UPDATE*************
There have been numerous dog incidents around Forty Hall Estate and the Whitewebbs Golf Course. Can all owners of dogs please retain active control of their animal(s) by using leads. This will reduce the number of incidents and keep both owners and animals safe. Please be mindful and aware of the surroundings should dogs be loose off leads and be proactive in avoiding confrontation.

    Actioned 15 June 2026
