    Policing Priority: Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB)

    The key policing priority is to address Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB), with a focused response on Perth Road and The Crossways area.
    This includes ongoing concerns relating to:

    Individuals and groups engaging in disruptive or nuisance behaviour
    The use of vehicles to cause or contribute to ASB, including dangerous driving, noise nuisance (revving engines, loud music), and congregating in vehicles in a manner that intimidates or disturbs the community

    The priority aims to:

    Reduce incidents of ASB and improve community safety
    Increase visible policing presence in hotspot locations
    Work in partnership with residents, local authorities, and other agencies to identify offenders and implement preventative measures
    Take robust enforcement action against individuals using vehicles to engage in ASB

    Action taken:

    Targeted plain clothes and hi visibility patrols along Perth Road and The Crossways. Issuing of ASB warnings, Community Protection Warnings (CPW’s) and Community Protection Notices (CPN’s) to repeat individuals causing ASB. Engaging with individuals loitering and causing ASB at the locations and conducting stop searches if grounds exist. Issuing Section 59 warnings to any individual using their vehicle to cause ASB along Perth Road and The Crossways. Working alongside Safer Transport to tackle speeding and individuals using their vehicles to cause ASB.

    Theft Related Priority - Theft and drug related offences focusing on Peabody Estate, N17.

    Issued 16 June 2026

    Action taken:

    Targeted plain-clothes and high-visibility patrols will be conducted around the Peabody Estate, utilising both marked and unmarked police vehicles. Officers will work closely with CCTV operators to identify and address individuals involved in thefts from front gardens and motor vehicles within the area.
    In addition, patrols will focus on individuals using the Peabody Estate for drug dealing and drug use. A key priority will be the gathering of intelligence to support targeted enforcement, alongside increased high-visibility and plain-clothes patrol presence.
    Enforcement measures will include the issuing of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) warnings, Community Protection Warnings (CPWs), and Community Protection Notices (CPNs) to repeat offenders. Officers will also engage proactively with individuals within the estate and conduct stop and searches where lawful grounds exist.

    Drug Related Priority – Drug relating offences focussing specifically in Tower Gardens Park, Tower Gardens Road and Risley Avenue.

    Action taken:

    Targeted plain-clothes and high-visibility patrols were conducted throughout Tower Gardens Park and the surrounding roads, including Tower Gardens Road and Risley Avenue. Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) warnings, Community Protection Warnings (CPWs), and Community Protection Notices (CPNs) were issued to repeat offenders. Officers engaged with individuals both within and around the park, and stop-and-search powers were exercised where lawful grounds existed.
