About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

    Theft from Motor Vehicle and theft of them. High visibility patrolling during the day giving crime prevention advice to owners of vehicles most at risk.

    Patrol in hot spot areas to deter suspects and to target suspects and recently conducted a motor vehicle OP in the area to combat these offences.

    ASB
    Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), drugs and their related offences and because there is a nationwide and local spike in shoplifting offences, resident agreed for shoplifting to be part of ASB priority. We are working to engage with stores to improve reporting as local officers are now investigating these crimes.

    Burglary due to Christmas coming up

    Action taken:

    To do mass leaflet drops in burglary hotspot areas. Crime prevention leaflets will be sent across via MET engage. Officers will send invitation out for crime prevention visits to all Met Engage members. Default patrols in burglary hot spot areas between the hours of 1600 hours and 1900 hours due to the nights drawing in early whilst resident are still at work leaving premises vulnerable.
