About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Theft of and from motor vehicles PMP/89158/25

    Issued 13 March 2026

    Action taken:

Uxbridge Neighbourhood Policing Team officers will use crime mapping to identify theft hotspots and use a range of tools to reduce crime and reassure our communities.
We will seek to disrupt those who are looking to steal motor vehicles and from motor vehicles with the assistance of our communities and LBH.
We will also regularly hold events to replace your vehicle number plate screws with anti-theft screws to prevent theft and tampering. Look out for those events on Met Egage.

    Actioned 18 June 2026

  • Priority:

    Drug dealing

    Issued 12 March 2026

    Action taken:

Identify locations and addresses in the Uxbridge Ward area where drugs are being dealt. Work with our partners and communities to take enforcement action and prevent further effects on our communities.

    Actioned 18 June 2026

  • Priority:

Violence against women and girls (VAWG) PMP/89215/24

    Issued 12 March 2026

    Action taken:

Officers will conduct Hi-Visibility patrols in known areas where woman and girls feel most vulnerable. Uxbridge Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) will conduct ''walk and talks'' with members of the public at set times for members of the community to discuss the issues why they feel unsafe and this can be addressed with partner agencies such as Hillingdon council depending on the issues raised. We will use crime stats to identify vulnerable areas and use our resources to make them safer.

    Actioned 18 June 2026
