    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Reduction in Violence

    Issued 22 April 2026

    Action taken:

In our ward, we remain firmly committed to tackling the issues that matter most to our community, one of them being violent crime. Violent crime remains a key focus within our ward, and we are committed to reducing harm and protecting our communities. We take a proactive, intelligence-led approach, identifying hotspot areas and individuals involved in violent behaviour. High-visibility patrols and targeted operations are supported by strong partnership working with community groups and local schools to prevent violence before it occurs. By building trust and maintaining a visible presence, we aim to keep residents safe and reduce the fear of crime.

    Actioned 16 July 2026

  • Priority:

    Reduction in Burglaries

    Issued 22 April 2026

    Action taken:

We recognise the serious impact residential burglary has on victims and the wider community. Our ward team is focused on reducing burglaries through crime prevention, community engagement and swift investigative action. We conduct reassurance visits in affected areas and offer security advice. Working closely with local response teams and utilising forensics, CCTV and intelligence, we aim to identify patterns, disrupt offenders and bring those responsible to justice.

    Actioned 16 July 2026

  • Priority:

Preventing Theft From and of Motor Vehicles

    Issued 22 April 2026

    Action taken:

Theft from and of motor vehicles continues to affect residents, particularly in hotspot locations across the ward. We are committed to reducing these offences through increased patrols, community engagement and targeted crime prevention advice. We promote vehicle security awareness and work with partners to identify trends and repeat offenders. Where appropriate, we utilise technology such as CCTV to assist with identifying suspects and recovering stolen property.
