About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    VAWG related offence
    S – Reduce violence related offences against women and girls
    M – VOLT & SARA analysis to be carried out, they can accurately show where offences have occurred. Gain support with partner agencies in the area and deliver awareness. Gain Intel packages on known offenders
    A – VAWG related events across the wards, crime prevention stands, Hi-Viz patrols, walk and talk, ask Angela in public houses, mobile patrols around transport hubs.
    R – Relevant There is a Met Initiative to build trust and confidence with women and girl across London There is a real potential for the loss of confidence between the police and the community and must be treated as a priority.
    T- To be reviewed at the next ward panel meeting.

    VAWG patrols and CPN breaches dealt with by offenders at Ladbroke Grove who commit VAWG offences by loitering at the station in the evenings

    ASB including Cuckooed address'
    S – Notting Dale has seen several recent incidents of anti social behaviour and an increase in the number of address being used to take and supply drugs from. Many of these address involved vulnerable adults being used through drug activity.
    M – VOLT & SARA analysis to be carried out, they can accurately show where offences have occurred. Work alongside RBKC and housing to obtain closure orders on address where appropriate. Gain Intel packages on known offenders
    A – A mixture of Hi – Viz and plain clothed patrols on the ward, weapon sweeps, Intel led warrants to target prolific known offenders, outside resources like TSG, VCTF and mounted to assist in targeted patrols of the ward, stop & search.
    R – This is relevant to Notting Dale due to the mixture of gangs in close proximity to each other and the violent crimes occurring on the ward. There is a real potential for the loss of confidence between the police and the community and must be treated as a priority.

    M – VOLT & SARA analysis to be carried out, they can accurately show where offences have occurred. Gain support and work with YET and Youth Clubs in the area and deliver awareness. Gain Intel packages on known offenders
    A – A mixture of Hi – Viz and plain clothed patrols on the ward, weapon sweeps, Intel led warrants to target prolific known offenders, outside resources like TSG, VCTF and mounted to assist in targeted patrols of the ward, stop & search.

    Theft Shoplifting
    Increase in Theft - shoplifting recently and this is expected to increase over the summer months. Officers will continue to proactively patrol and get assistance from specialist officers.
    Officers will engage with local shops to provide reassurance and advice on how to target shoplifting including CPW, CPN and positive searches and arrests where possible
