About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Ward Priority #1 - Highbury Corner has a large amount of offences associated with it. These include theft, robbery, ASB and drug use. The Local Ward Panel has deemed this an area of priority.
There is an enormous amount of through traffic which results in thefts and robberies. An increased presence will detract and deter such offenders from coming to this area to commit crime.

    Issued 12 May 2026

    Action taken:

    No update available
  • Priority:

Ward Priority #2 - Arundel Square and Paradise Park Open Spaces - Drug use and Violence against Women and Girls.
Residents have highlighted that they see both drug dealing and drug use at various hours of the day.
In the winter months residents highlight concerns with lighting and feeling unsafe.

    Issued 12 May 2026

    Action taken:

    No update available
  • Priority:

Ward Priority #3 - Court Gardens - At the recent ward panel meeting residents highlighted an increase ASB and Drug use.
This includes fans on match day causing ASB. Due to the large number of reports at this location it will become a priority area

    Issued 12 May 2026
