About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    To address community concerns relating to women and girls feeling safe while walking alone or out at night. To prevent any members of the public feeling unsafe when out at any time.

    Patrols continue to be conducted. Engagements continue along with partners.
    SNT officers continue to hold ‘Teams’ meetings with Partners such as Lewisham Council, Businesses and Councillors every three months to monitor results and amend strategy

    Drugs and Anti-Social Behaviour Issues linked to drug related activity and the associated ASB that goes with this within the ward.

    Pulse patrols of high activity areas (Ennersdale Road and vicinity of St Mungos)
    Proactive policing operations utilising a variety of tactics
    Joint PSPO patrols with council
    Improve signage in the area making clear what behaviour is not in accordance with PSPO
    Liaising with Highway Team to remove street furniture which encourage congregating/loitering.
