About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

    Concerns were raised by the community about drug dealing around Higham Hill.
    In response to this officers will perform a number of targeted patrols over the next three months, specifically but not exclusively on the Manston Court, Oakfield Road and Higham Hill Road, Riverhead Close E17, Cheney Road Park, Sutherlands Road where more detailed issues have been highlighted.

    Heightened patrols took place at targeted times, Officers will continue to work with Partner Agencies to find ways to tackle this problem over the following month to ensure no reoccurrence and officers will look to enforce where possible by issue anti social behaviour warnings/notices or arrest.

    Concerns have been raised around motorist speeding on Higham Hill Road and Sutherland Road E17, Priors Croft and Gloucester Road E17

    Action taken:

    In response to this several Community Road Watch events have been carried out in order to tackle this issue as well as enforcement patrols with Council Partners as a result multiple tickets issued and vehicles seized. Officers will continue to conduct further Community Road Watch events and hi-vis patrols in the area.
    Dates, times and location will be publicised on the website and local residents are welcome to take part in the event. Please speak to your local team if interested.

    Concerns were raised by the community about ASB around Papermill Place E17, Manston Court E17 and Cheney Row Park E17 in response to this officers will perform a number of targeted patrols over the next three months and also work with the council on identifying offenders and issue anti social behaviour warnings/notices where possible.

    Concerns were raised by the community about ASB around Papermill Place E17, Manston Court E17 and Cheney Row Park E17. In response to this officers will perform a number of targeted patrols over the next three months and issue anti social behaviour warnings/notices and where needed .
