About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Shoplifting and linked anti-social behaviour in the arena shopping park N4. Crime data along with information from residents indicates that there is an ongoing issue with individuals attending the arena shopping park to steal items as well as beg and intimidate members of the public.

    Issued 03 November 2026

    Action taken:

Officers will conduct a mixture of plain clothes and high visibility patrols in the area to deter offenders and make suitable use of police powers to deal with offences identified. Officers will adopt a partnership working approach to work with the businesses in the area to ensure they are playing an appropriate role in ensuring this behaviour is dealt with appropriately and not encouraged.

    Actioned 16 November 2026

  • Priority:

Drug Related Anti-Social Behaviour in Eade and Vale Road Reports of ASB and Drugs: Local Residents have reported to us that there are significant issues around drug users attending this location to purchase drugs also resulting in linked Anti-social behaviour. This priority was retained by the ward panel on the 3rd August 2026.

    Issued 03 November 2026

    Action taken:

A mixture of high visibility and plain clothes patrols will take place in the local area. Officers will make use of stop and search and arrest powers as well as powers under the anti-social behaviour, crime and policing act 2014 to issue community protection warnings, notices and anti-social behaviour warnings. Officers will work to gather intelligence to identify any underlying causes of the issues and address these appropriately.

    Actioned 16 November 2026

  • Priority:

Drug related anti-social behaviour in the Garden area including Kimberley, Warwick and Stanhope Gardens.

    Issued 03 November 2026

    Action taken:

Officers will conduct a mixture of high visibility and plain clothes patrols in the area making suitable use of police powers to deal with any offences identified.
