About us

    Action taken:

    SPECIFIC: Conduct regular checks for new robbery/theft offences on the High Street and undertake effective patrols offering crime prevention advice when appropriate. Conduct regular engagement events at location to deter/disrupt offences such as Crime prevention initiatives to take place at banks. Targeted high visibility patrols at any identified hotspots or vulnerable premises on the High Street. Positive enforcement against identifiable suspects. . Targeted crime prevention advice and high visibility patrols of repeat victim locations identified. Re Shoplifting, regular patrols and engagement with shop workers to encourage reporting and identify any potential regular offenders.

    MEASURABLE: Success can be measured by monitoring the number and location of robbery and associated theft offences reported to Police and responding appropriately whilst also looking to take preventable action.

    ACHIEVABLE: All proposed actions are achievable and will promote community safety.

    RELEVANT: Priority identified by police and community members as a continuing concern and agreed by Ward Panel as a priority for the next 3 months.

    TIMELY: The period between ward panel meetings and associated data will be used to monitor the success of these actions.

    SPECIFIC: Conduct regular checks for new burglary offences on the ward and undertake effective cocooning, offering crime prevention advice. Conduct regular checks for wanted burglary/theft offenders who may be residing on the ward and deal accordingly. Targeted high visibility patrols at any identified hotspots. . Crime prevention advice to be disseminated on Met Engage and during engagement events.

    MEASURABLE: Success can be measured by monitoring the number and location of burglaries reported to Police and responding appropriately whilst also looking to take preventable action.

    ACHIEVABLE: All proposed actions are achievable and will promote community safety.

    RELEVANT: Priority identified by community members as a current concern and agreed by Ward Panel as a priority for the next 3 months.

    TIMELY: The period between ward panel meetings and associated data will be used to monitor the success of these actions.

Crime prevention advice to be disseminated on Met Engage and during engagement events.

    MEASURABLE: Success can be measured by monitoring the number and location of vehicle crime offences reported to police and responding appropriately whilst also looking to encourage residents to maximise vehicle security.

    ACHIEVABLE: All proposed actions are achievable and will aim to reduce the incidents of motor vehicle crime.
