About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    Work with shop staff to identify and target repeat offenders

    Offer crime prevention advice to support businesses

    Use CCTV and intelligence to build evidence for enforcement

    Utilise Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBO) to curtail prolific offenders

    Pro active foot patrols in both uniform and plain clothes in and around Eastcote High Street. The use of drugs also has an impact on the shops in the local area, as shoplifting is taking place in order to fund the habit.

    Motor Vehicle crime.

    We will conduct targeted patrols in hotspot areas during peak times.

    Deliver crime prevention leaflets and engage with vehicle owners.

    Work with CCTV and forensics to identify and pursue offenders.

    Hold community events to raise awareness and offer security advice.

    Action taken:

    Pro active foot patrols in both uniform and plain clothes in and around Eastcote High Street. Residents have spoken to officers and stated that drug taking / dealing is taking place near to the library and down the service road, behind the library.

    The use of drugs also has an impact on the shops in the local area, as shoplifting is taking place in order to fund the habit.

    Violence related crimes which includes violence against women and girls.

    Action taken:

    Conduct high-visibility patrols in identified hotspot areas, particularly during key times, (eg school commute and night time economy hours), while working with local partners to raise awareness, promote safer spaces and encourage reporting. Officers will engage with women and girls in the community to better understand their concerns, feeding this into local problem solving and targeted enforcement activity.
    PRIORITY AREAS: Residential streets and alleyways leading from Field End Road near the library and Warrender Park.
