About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    To reduce violence against the person in and around the Sun and Woolpack Public House on Hertford Road.

    Working with the local intelligence team to identify any trends to help identify and arrest suspects.

    Regular patrols of Ward officers to deter crime using ASB and Community Protection Warnings. Ward officers will also work with Enfield Councils Licensing Team

    Tackling theft in Hertford Road around 606 and Lidl Supermarkets

    Action taken:

    Ward officers have increased police presence hotspot areas, during peak hours in order to provide reassurance to deter offenders. Offenders will be identified and arrested.

    ASB and Community Protection Warnings are being used to deter offers from the area.

    There have increasing number of complaints around ASB in Bullsmoor Lane relating to drugs, prostitution and aggressive begging.

    Action taken:

    Ward officers have increased patrols in the area and identified and issued ASB and Community Protection Warnings to individuals who were contributing to this issue. A number of vehicles linked with ASB have been seized or removed
