    Robberies and commercial burglaries Mile End Rd/Bow Rd.
    SNT officers are dedicating patrols utilising foot pulse patrols and cycle officers along Bow Rd and Mile End Rd of the Bow west Ward to provide reassurance and the commission of said offences. Static patrols outside business venues suffering from criminal activity are also conducted at times to assist in deterring crime.

    Action taken:

    Local taskings to areas of Roman Rd and Morgan St to provide hi-visibility reassurance and the prevention of crime. Regular patrols utilising foot and cycle officers. Joint Operations on the Roman Rd with Bow East Safer neighbourhood Team to combat excessive speed/undue care of EV cycling. Bow West are in the initial stage of organising a joint Speed Gun Operation with Safer Transport on the Roman Rd.

    Action taken:

    Adopting regular patrols in the vicinity utilising foot patrols and cycle patrolling officers. Local safer neighbourhood officers upon conducting a patrol of Guerin Square happened upon an incident where a Male suspect was engaged with and ultimately arrested for burglary type offences. At the suspect's home stolen property was recovered and returned to a very delighted victim. Patrols in Tredegar Sqr have resulted in a number of individuals being processed for drug type possession offences. Local Safer Neighbourhood officers have been implementing more face-to-face opportunities by conducting further contact sessions in the vicinity. These open to the public contact sessions are generally advertised on the Met website and Met Engage and facilitated to increase reassurance, familiarity and security.
