About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    Anti-Social Behaviour Red Rocks Path, Taylor Park and Prescot Road, including anti-social use of vehicles near Carmel College

    Action taken:

    Neighbourhood officers are currently working with partners and the College to devise a partnership action plan to combat this issue. They have obtained CCTV covering offences and working to identify the offenders. Some youths have been spoken to by schools officers and initial verbal warnings issued regarding behaviour.

    Anti-Social Behaviour Foxwoods estate, including anti-social use of vehicles near Eccleston Park Golf Course

    Action taken:

    Officers have provided extra attention to the area, conducted road safety and ASB talks in local schools and conducted an environmental assessment of the area for preventative options. Due to the increased visibility 2 x adults and 2 x children were warned regarding their behaviour and advised of partner escalation processes.

    Ward officers have regular contact with residents in the area of Eccleston,
    Officers have carried out crime‑prevention visits in the area, have made a number of arrests for vehicle crime. High‑visibility patrols are ongoing, and we will continue to work closely with the community to deter and address any emerging problems.
