  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

You have told us that Road Safety and speeding is a priority, this includes things like Speeding, Insurance, MOT and driving offences.

    Issued 25 June 2025

    Action taken:

Police Volunteers have conducted vehicle speed checks at several locations in Oadby, including Manor Road, Launde Road, Uplands Road, Brabazon Road, Wigston Road, Ash Tree Road. From the data, Police Officers have conducted Road Safety Operations in Oadby enforcing traffic offences, such as speeding, use of mobile phones whilst driving, no seat belts, and vehicles with no MOT, TAX, or Insurance.
If you are concerned about speeding you can report your concerns to the Road Safety Partnership at https://www.speedorsafety.com/

    Actioned 25 June 2025

  • Priority:

You have told us that the thought of drug use and taking in your community causes you concern. We are tackling these issues with proactive patrols around known hotspots and will be working with partners to ensure we can tackle these issues and reduce their occurrence.

    Issued 25 June 2025

    Action taken:

Your local Police Beat Team and Response Officers have regularly patrolled locations as reported.

Officers have stop checked several persons and vehicles, involved in drugs, in the last couple of months, from information provided by you, and again reduction in reported drugs related incidents.

    Actioned 25 June 2025

  • Priority:

You told us that you were concerned about vehicle crime. This can be theft of motor vehicles or theft from motor vehicles, this also includes theft of tools from vans and theft of catalytic convertors.

    Issued 25 June 2025

    Action taken:

Officers have conducted regular patrols of the areas where offences have occurred, we also use covert and overt tactics to target offences. We will continue to do this going forward.
In the last few months, catalytic convertors and number plates were the main theft from vehicles offences reported. CCTV provided valuable intelligence on the times the offences were happening and possible vehicles involved, to assist in our patrol strategy. There has been a significant reduction in these reports.
