    Parking and Anti- Social Behaviour concerns on BISHOPDALE
    We have received multiple complaints from residents, via various reporting channels, regarding dangerous, inconsiderate, and illegal parking along with Anti Social in the vicinity of Bishopdale. These issues appear to be particularly prevalent on Saturdays and are disruption and safety concerns within the community.

    We have received concerns from retailers and Security at the Beaumont Leys Shopping centre that there is still a significant problem with Anti-social Behaviour caused by youths

    Action taken:

    The Beat Team, alongside the Safer Streets Team, have conducted high-visibility patrols of the Beaumont Leys shopping centre. Officers engaged positively with a number of local youths and store staff, reinforcing community relationships and promoting a safe and welcoming environment.

    Additionally, a multi-agency meeting was held with major stakeholders to address current issues affecting the area. This was attended by the NPA commander Ins Hayes. Discussions focused on improving the reporting and response to crime and ASB, with a shared commitment to collaborative problem-solving and long-term community safety.
    A number of youths have been issued with Anti social Behaviour contacts, ASB warnings, banning letters, along with a number of referrals to Youth Services.

    A number of properties have been taken over and "Cuckooed"
    Which has raised safeguarding concerns.
