    Where necessary, enforcement action and appropriate interventions have been used to deal with those causing nuisance or disorder. Officers have also worked with partner agencies to support vulnerable individuals and address the underlying causes of alcohol misuse.

    Action taken:

    Following concerns raised by residents, officers continue to work with schools, partner organisations and local communities to promote internet safety and tackle cyber bullying. Educational sessions and awareness activities help young people understand how to stay safe online, recognise harmful behaviour and make responsible choices when using social media, gaming platforms and other online services. Officers also provide advice on how to report concerns and where to find support. Reports of cyber bullying, online harassment and other online offences are taken seriously, and criminal offences will be investigated where appropriate. Through ongoing engagement and preventative work, officers aim to help young people stay safe online, reduce the risk of harm and build confidence in reporting concerns when they occur.

    Drink/drug driving.

    Action taken:

    Following concerns raised by residents, drink and drug driving remains a priority for local officers. Regular patrols and targeted enforcement activity are carried out to identify drivers who may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and to improve safety for everyone using the roads. This includes vehicle stops, roadside breath tests and drug tests where appropriate, as well as action against other road traffic offences that put people at risk. Officers continue to maintain a visible presence in the area, respond to reports from the community and take enforcement action where offences are identified. Information provided by residents plays an important role in helping officers target patrols and keep local roads safe.
