    Action taken:

    Officers continue to respond to reports of nuisance vehicles through targeted patrols and enforcement activity across the ward. Information provided by residents helps officers identify problem locations, gather intelligence and take action against those responsible. Patrols are carried out in areas where concerns have been raised, helping to deter offending and improve safety for local communities.

    Nuisance vehicle offences can be challenging to address, as those involved often leave the area before officers arrive. However, reports from the public play a vital role in helping officers build intelligence, identify repeat offenders and target enforcement activity effectively. Through ongoing patrols, community engagement and the use of appropriate road traffic and antisocial behaviour powers, officers continue to work to reduce nuisance vehicle use and improve the quality of life for residents. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting incidents, as information from the community helps officers take positive action and address ongoing concerns.

    Action taken:

    Officers continue to work with partner organisations to address antisocial behaviour in Swanley Park. Regular patrols are carried out to provide reassurance to residents, identify those responsible for offending and take action where appropriate. Recent concerns have centred on young people fishing without permission and the misuse of catapults, which have caused concern among park users and contributed to a fear of violence.

    Officers have identified some of those involved and have used appropriate antisocial behaviour powers to address the issues. Alongside enforcement activity, officers are working with Swanley Parish Council to develop positive solutions aimed at preventing further incidents. This includes exploring opportunities for young people to access suitable recreational activities, helping to reduce antisocial behaviour while addressing the concerns raised by the community.

    Through ongoing patrols, partnership working and problem-solving, officers continue to work to ensure Swanley Park remains a safe and welcoming place for residents and visitors. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting concerns, as information from the community helps officers identify emerging issues, target resources effectively and take positive action where needed.

    Action taken:

    Officers continue to work proactively to tackle drug-related activity within the ward. Information provided by residents helps officers identify locations of concern, develop intelligence and direct patrols and enforcement activity where it is needed most. Officers review and follow up reports wherever possible, using community information to support ongoing investigations and identify those involved in drug-related offending.

    Where appropriate, officers use stop and search powers to identify offenders and disrupt criminal activity. A stop and search is a police power that allows officers to search a person for items such as illegal drugs, weapons or stolen property when certain legal conditions are met. Through ongoing patrols, intelligence gathering and partnership working, officers continue to take action against drug-related crime and work to keep local communities safe. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting concerns, as information from the community plays a vital role in helping officers identify offenders, disrupt criminal activity and prevent further offences.
