About us

    Burglary - residential.

    Action taken:

    Officers continue to monitor reports of burglary and carry out patrols where appropriate to help prevent offences and provide reassurance to residents. Positively, there have been no reported burglary offences in the area during this reporting period. While reports remain low, officers recognise that burglary remains a concern for many residents and will continue to work proactively to help keep local communities safe.

    Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to Kent Police. Information provided by the public helps officers identify emerging issues, direct patrols effectively and take action to prevent crime. Through ongoing patrols, community engagement and crime prevention activity, officers continue to work to protect homes, property and local communities.

    Vehicle crime.

    Action taken:

    Officers continue to address antisocial behaviour through targeted patrols, community engagement and enforcement activity. Although reports of antisocial behaviour have remained low during this reporting period, officers continue to maintain a visible presence within the community, respond to concerns raised by residents and take action where necessary to prevent issues from escalating.

    This priority will be reviewed to ensure it continues to reflect the concerns and needs of local residents. Officers encourage the public to continue reporting incidents and sharing information, as information from the community helps identify emerging issues, direct resources effectively and support early intervention where required. Through ongoing patrols and proactive engagement, officers remain committed to maintaining community safety and preventing antisocial behaviour.

    Road safety.

    Action taken:

    Officers continue to address road safety concerns through targeted patrols and enforcement activity in response to concerns raised by residents. A number of speed enforcement operations have been carried out across the ward, helping to identify drivers committing road traffic offences and improve safety for all road users.

    Further speed enforcement activity is planned over the coming weeks and months, with additional patrols and speed checks taking place at locations identified through community concerns and local intelligence. Officers will continue to use speed detection equipment, carry out enforcement activity and engage with motorists to encourage safe and responsible driving.

    Residents are encouraged to report dangerous, antisocial or inconsiderate driving, as information from the community helps officers identify problem locations, understand emerging trends and direct patrols and enforcement activity where they are most needed. Through ongoing enforcement, visibility patrols and community engagement, officers remain committed to improving road safety and reducing offending on local roads.
