    E-Scooters/e-bikes.

    Action taken:

    Officers have carried out patrols and a targeted operation to tackle the illegal use of e‑scooters and e‑bikes.

    Several unlawfully used e‑scooters have been seized and removed. Officers will continue regular patrols to deter antisocial use of these vehicles and improve safety in the area.

    Antisocial behaviour - general.

    Action taken:

    PC Hills is carrying out regular patrols across the area, both on foot and in marked police vehicles. This helps him cover different locations, see where issues are happening and speak directly with residents, workers and visitors. A visible police presence also helps reassure the community and deter crime.

    During these patrols, a range of issues have been identified and dealt with. These include rough sleeping, nuisance or unsafe driving, and groups of young people involved in antisocial behaviour. Officers have taken action where offences were identified and provided advice and support to help prevent problems from escalating.

    Patrols are also focused on areas where incidents have previously been reported, helping to disrupt repeat issues and prevent further harm. Speaking with residents is a key part of this work, allowing officers to understand local concerns and build trust within the community.

    This ongoing approach combines visibility, prevention and enforcement to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour and keep the area safe. Residents are encouraged to continue sharing their concerns through local ward surgeries or via My Community Voice (an online two-way messaging service used to report issues and to receive updates).

    Road safety issues.

    Action taken:

    PC Hills has carried out targeted speed enforcement in areas such as Palm Bay and North Foreland using speed‑measuring equipment.

    During this work, several vehicles were stopped for exceeding the speed limit, confirming concerns raised by local residents that speeding remains an ongoing issue in these areas.

    Officers will continue to carry out further traffic operations, combining enforcement with education to encourage safer driving and reduce risk on local roads.

    Residents are encouraged to keep sharing their concerns through local ward surgeries or My Community Voice (an online two-way messaging service used to report issues and receive updates).
