    Fly tipping.

    Action taken:

    Locations where waste has been found have been reported to the local council for action. Fly-tipping, which is the illegal dumping of waste, can harm the environment, attract further rubbish and have a negative impact on local communities. Responsibility for removing fly-tipped waste and investigating related offences generally sits with the local council. Neighbourhood officers will continue to work with partner agencies to identify and report incidents, and anyone found responsible for fly-tipping will be dealt with appropriately. This ongoing partnership approach helps to keep the area clean, protect the local environment and improve the quality of life for residents.

    Road safety issues.

    Action taken:

    Various road safety operations have been carried out to address local concerns about speeding, unsafe driving and nuisance vehicles linked to antisocial behaviour. These operations have included speed enforcement checks and patrols in areas where concerns about vehicle-related crime and antisocial behaviour have been reported. Officers have also taken enforcement action for a range of driving offences. Multiple Traffic Offence Reports (TOR) have been issued for offences such as speeding, using a mobile phone while driving, failing to wear a seatbelt and driving vehicles with defects that could affect safety. A TOR is a formal record created by police when someone is suspected of committing a road traffic offence and may result in a fixed penalty notice, a driver education course or a court appearance. This work is helping to improve road safety, reduce antisocial behaviour and make local roads safer for all road users.

    Nuisance motorcycles.

    Action taken:

    High-visibility patrols and marked police vehicles have been deployed regularly in the area to deter illegal and antisocial use of bikes and to reassure local residents. Officers are actively working to identify people using bikes unlawfully so that appropriate enforcement action can be taken where offences are identified. This may include investigating reports, gathering evidence and using relevant police powers to address unsafe or antisocial behaviour. Any further incidents reported to police will be dealt with robustly to help improve community safety and reduce the impact on local residents.
